ASICS Women's Gel-Rocket 9 Volleyball Shoes

These are by far the best cross training shoes I’ve ever had. I hope the manufacturer doesn’t try to “improve” them because I think they are perfect the way they are. They are comfortable with good sole grip/traction, good foot support, the sole has good shock absorbency, upper is partially fabric for good breathability, foot bed is cushioned, the portion that surrounds the lower part of the foot and toes is a solid material which is very important to me. This keeps the foot from sliding around and over the edge of the sole of the shoe. These are the only shoes I wear for my exercise routines. All other previous shoes have been kicked to the curb since I found these. I do not have even one negative observation after wearing this brand and style for about two years now. And they look good too!!! I wish I had found them sooner and saved myself from the frustration of high dollar memory foam sole shoes with no support, no structure, no durability and no way to walk or run on gravelly/rocky surfaces without feeling every pebble and stone!

I am still wearing these two years later. They are my everyday sneaker for all activities. Great for the value. I find them very comfortable.

My feet tend to run a bit wide, so I was a little concerned when it felt a little snug when I slipped them on. My big toe is very gently pressed against the toe next to it when wearing the shoe, but as I started moving around more, I noticed it less and less. In fact, the snugness of the shoe actually made it feel more supportive in the right areas. My feet didn't slip around, and stayed locked in at the heels when I would be lunging all over the court (played badminton in them). Playing in them for the first time without any break-in time, and my feet still felt comfy afterwards! They didn't get too hot and seemed ventilated well. They also look pretty nice too!

Great Volleyball shoes at a great price point. I’ve been a loyal ASICS brand consumer for the past 30 years because I believe they make the best volleyball shoes. I was looking for ones that I could just practice in, not use regularly and didn’t want to spend a fortune. I saw these pair on Amazon Prime and compared it with others. The shoes fit true to size: The bottom sole material is pretty strong and durable. But I do worry about the rest of the shoe’s material. Specifically the sides of the shoes, and the shoe lace holes (if used constantly, I believe will tear fast because it’s not thick enough). I do like the imbedded/embossed ASICS signature lines on one side but the inner side of the shoe seems to be just painted on and will no doubt get marked very easily. But overall a pretty nice shoe and very economical.

I have good pickleball sneakers but felt they were weighted and "sticky" for indoor (basketball courts) play. I was shopping $150 indoor courts shoes but chose these based on reviews (not the number of 5-star reviews, but some real, solid, feedback) and I could not be happier. GREAT sneaker. They are so comfy, so much lighter, and easier to move in. I still lost most of my games playing in them but at least I could get to the ball faster and move with more agility. Next is a new racquet, new balls, then I can no longer blame the "equipment" -:)

I needed shoes that are designed for indoor pickleball play, with foot and ankle stability and comfort being the key features desired at a good value. I have never worn ASICS before but the reviews were positive so I took a chance on the ASICS Gel Rocket 9 shoes. I have played 3 times in them so far and like the overall fit and support. The traction is good on the wooden indoor floors. They are a bit more narrow than my Nikes but not too tight. The TRUSSTIC system offers added stability for quick direction changes. The shoes come in a nice variety of colors. Just wish the shoelaces were a bit longer.

I wore these shoes for Pickleball & they feel really good when I play on an inside court, although they say for volleyball, but I think any inside court in any type of sport, they will be good . They keep my feet rigid when I play. I wore them outside on a Pickleball Court in the hot Florida sun & they made my feet a little hot, but they were ok. I will wear them for the inside court & wear my regular tennis shoes for the outside courts. All in all, I like the style and the feeling on my foot. The price was good also.

Comfy shoe, nice appearance. Only gave 4 stars as colour a bit more vibrant than depicted/expected. I will keep and use though. Will be trying them out later this week so will report back if my review changes.

These shoes are exactly as they are advertised. Very happy with the fit.

I am very pleased using these ASICS shoes when I play indoor pickle ball. I use an orthotic inside the shoe and it fit inside well. I feel like I have good traction. The tread seems more than sufficient. I've only been wearing them a short while and will redo my review if the quality of this shoe does not hold up. I believe the sizing is correct. I have always wore a size 7 and these are 7 as well. Good fit.
