Amazing! Great portable projector
Having owned a few bigger and noisier projectors I was looking for something a bit easier to five around and much easier on the ears...this is most definitely it! It's around the same size as my phone, fantastic picture in the correct light settings and you hardly hear it running. I bought it with the intention of using my laptop and USB pen drives as the main source, but I've since ordered a Fire stick due to its portability. The speakers aren't too bad, but for more bass I have plugged in a portable speaker. I also use my stereo when watching in my office for even better sound. The images added are the image projected onto a plain wall in my office and the projection works fine The projector arrived within a day of ordering, was packaged great and very easy to set up. My only negatives are the mirror app, that wasn't so easy to set up, although I did get it working. Unfortunately I am unable to mirror the apps I was hoping too, but that is more down to Sky, Netflix, etc. rather than the projector. I have had NO issues when using the fire stick. Also the focus wheel is very temperamental, but once focused, the picture is fantastic. Looking forward to a few outside movie nights when the weather warms up. I have tried it outside and it will be ideal. It also comes with a stand which I use when watching from other parts of the house and outside. This is the most I have paid for a projector, but I am more then happy with my purchase.

Excellent Device
I use this product for professional presentations via PowerPoint. The portability is excellent; it is small enough to fit into my pocket and weighs very little. The picture is bright and crisp on a white wall or screen. I find the focus control on the projector a little too sensitive and takes a few moments to get it right. The projector makes very little noise. I would recommend this item to anyone making professional presentations. I have never used it for TV or games so am unqualified to comment.

Solid Unit with Great Performance
The Vamvo Mini Projector is an excellent bit of tech and I am impressed with it. I run a record label in the UK, and similar to many other people in lockdown because the Covid-19 pandemic, I needed to think of ways to operate my business remotely and online. As such, I decided to turn a room into my house into a live-streaming studio and needed a small projector to beam imagery onto the wall of it. I am always sceptical when I don't recognize a brand name and this was true with Vamvo, so for me this was a bit of risk - glad to say that it paid off. Having set a tight budget, I needed the biggest bang for a constrained buck and this projector absolutely delivered. I researched my options for, and it was clear that this unit was one of two front-runners. The unit is incredibly compact and portable, basically phone-sized (but thicker) yet packs a decent punch with respect to the projection itself. The picture is clear and I am very happy with it. The menus, whilst basic, are exactly what's required to navigate to what you need. The connectivity options are excellent. You can hook in a phone, use an USB or micro SD card and there is also an HDMI port. I could well envisage using this on a camping holiday. Battery life seems good and I like the fact that it can be run without a mains connection It should be pointed out that the audio is a little light from the speaker - but that should be expected on a very compact unit. That said, you can certainly hear it - and maybe if you were using this in a tent, it would be a considerate way to use it, depending on the proximity of your neighbours. All in all, very good indeed.

Not quite NASA performance... but yes it is a pocket rocket
Nice gadget! Pros: Very good ergonomics, better than most projectors. About the size of a smartphone, just twice the thickness. Super compact. Picture quality and brightness is good up to about 60inches in a darkened room, and it is usable in a lit room or indoors in daylight, albeit at a smaller screen size up to 20-40in Connectivity is good - wireless / EZcast / hdmi / sdhc / usb (for data, and power out, not for power in) Remote control is neat and works fine Add a usb battery pack (ideally with two outputs) and maybe a fire tv stick, and external speakers, and a usb-to 12v convertor cable, and a smartphone that can tether for wifi, you have a really comprehensive portable/offgrid package. Limitations (minor, given its pocket sized nature and the £200 ish price tag): - speakers sound thin - the focus wheel is a bit flimsy and fiddly; fine tuning the focus could be easier - no keystone correction - not native hd - menu system is usable rather than great All these are minor, some may be things that can be fixed for the next gen model when it comes out. Summary: I'm delighted with it, it is a thing of beauty that works really well.

Phenomenal Projector!
As an amateur artist I was heavily reliant on my Artograph projector (now on its way for recycling!!) to assist me with many of my art projects, when that broke down I was faced with a hefty cost to replace/repair which I was unwilling to do along with many other negative points too, bulbs were regularly blowing, which were expensive to replace and created a great deal of heat cooled by an excessively noisy fan! I had never really considered a main stream projector before especially LED! but after some investigative online shopping the Vamvo Mini Projector kept coming up trumps! Cost was a little more than I wanted to pay but other customer reviews and its specifications swayed me into purchasing one! Was I disappointed? Not in the slightest! OK so it took a little practice setting it up and working out how to project images onto my art table but I have to say I was and am impressed! it outperforms any previous 'art projector' I've owned in the past tenfold, even working in a room with the curtains open the image it projected was more than sufficient in detail to work from as my photographs show! Its compact size is perfect for the projector stand I have attached it too ( I did have to purchase a separate Smallrig Clamp to allow for this) It is in no way as near as obstructive over my working area and if there is a fan I'm certainly not aware of it! OK so I'm not using it to project video (yet!) so I can't really comment on its pros and cons in that department, but then that wasn't what it was purchased for, but taking into account other customer reviews, it would seem to perform well in that arena too! So from an 'artistic' point of view this was money well spent and I would buy again! definitely deserving of the 5 stars I have given it.

I'm sure its unusual but ....
.... the box was dirty, damaged, the contents weren't sealed, but (stupidly) we persevered anyway. After charging it we were ready to try it. Downloaded EZMIRA but could not get it to work, as suggested tried the developer access to the USB and USB tethering, tried another phone, another USB cable and directly inserted a USB stick ... Nothing ! Sent it back and have chosen another make.

Total review - mainly great.
After a long period of searching and analysis, I chose this for its portability and lumen brightness. I’ll keep my review short and to the point: Picture quality (3/5) Not bad. Actually for a small unit with big throw it’s decent. Don’t expect crisp HD though. Sound (3/5): The In Built speak is ‘ok’. It doesn’t connect with anything Bluetooth and only has a mini jack output. Brightness (6/5): Brilliant! And remains strong even at large distances. Works well with ambient light too. Connectivity (5/5): Quite surprising that USB and HMDI are really effective and easy, and micro USB. Great! Portability (5/5): Brilliant. Perfect for holidays, indoor and out. Battery life (1/5): Terrible. The description says 2 hrs but it lasts no more than an hour. Quite disappointed. I’m going to have to find a battery pack to connect to it when I use it.

Easy to set up once you know how ;-)
Works well for showing a film in bedroom / doing an informal powerpoint presentation. However, when I got it, read the instructions (in pidgeon English!) and spent hours trying to get it to work to no avail. Was on verge of tears (at Xmas..) and returning it (felt really daft), when I finally got it to work with my Dell laptop, Windows 10 and Microsoft Powerpoint . Here's briefly how. Hope it helps: 1. Leave instruction book in box. 2. Remove projector and screw in stand to back. 3. Open up stand. 4. Plug in power supply to projector - on side open up cover to reveal several sockets. 5. Plug in to power supply and turn on at socket. 6. ( I bought an adapter ) Plug in adapter to laptop (turned on) using USB type C bit. 7. Plug one end (any end!) of HDMI cable (I already had one - or buy one) into other end of adapter. 8. Plug in other end of HDMI cable into side of projector. 9. Turn on projector by sliding the silver cover (by "vamvo" word) upwards 10. Projector should project onto wall (or buy a screen). 11. If not, get hold of remote control. Press button on 2nd row from bottom on right hand side (has a ">" inserted in a "box"). 12. Three options appear on projected screen. Select the 3rd option "HDMI" using "arrows" and "OK" buttons on remote. 13. Done! Everything you do on laptop should show on screen. Run a film, run a presentation etc.. Am keeping vamvo projector for hours more fun!. thanks

Très bon appareil
Bonne luminosité 150 ANSI LUMEN. Ventilateur quasiment silencieux.
