Quick and Fairly Self Intuitive, Convenience from home
This device was really easy to use and practical for our family of 5. My husband and I set up the device after watching the instructional video and then all you have to do is simply swipe in the direction the E is facing, which is simple enough. We tested ourselves and then our kids, which makes life a lot easier then all of us making an unnecessary trip to the optometrist with our busy lifestyles. My husband is the only one who wears glasses and barely has time off work, so knowing he can check his numbers without having to make an appt or take away from family time is extremely convenient. Overall, I'd highly recommend this product.

not so gold
its thick alright, but not accurate. says to place ur phone in the holder but there is not holder, just a strap that doesn’t keep it secure or lined up right. Got severly different results every single time i did it

Not suited for easy use
It has not been very easy to operate also it is not accurate when we tried itBut if used to just to judge whether one had issues or not it can come in handyWe purchased this for health camp in remote areas for which it was not well suited

Mixed bag on the positive side
There are two items to this - one for accuity and other for finding out prescription. The one for accuity is easy to use. Attach it to smart phone and you are good to go. Results depend on the pupillary distance accurately being entered. Turned out consistent with Snellen readings. The one for prescription is fraught with your appetite for patience. Checking values at each axis is painfully slow. I haven't give beyond 3 readings

Check you phone first
My phone did not have the pixal resolution to work, so returned it.

Not accurate enough - and very time consuming
I was impressed that this thingy got within a quarter of a diopter of my actual prescription. And it was very accurate on the angles of my astigmatism. As good as any opticians office I've been to.The problem: 1/4 diopter is NOT accurate enough. I'm pretty confident in my prescription because I've been testing the same for the last 5 years. Also, they make you test each eye 3 times and each eye test involves 9 measurements. That's 54 measurements for both eyes. I assume they have you do it three times because they know there is too much variability in the results. It's a good idea, but it also betrays the inaccuracy of the device. Also - 54 frickin measurements!! Figure a good half hour at least to do the test. It's not a super pleasant process. If it was just a little more accurate I would recommend it. It's time consuming and a pain, but it's cheaper and still less of a hassle than going to an optometrist.NOTE: Someone might say that I should try again. It might get more accurate. But if Ii didn't know my prescription already, I'd never have enough confidence in this thing to trust it for ordering glasses.

Creative way to track vision.
Easy to use for most ages. Kinda difficult to tell if child is doing it correctly since they are swiping themselves. Perhaps if it said correct or incorrect it would be helpful to the parent to evaluate the accuracy, although I could understand not wanting to influence the child while taking the test. Overall, simple and effective. Like how it helps identify color blindness and contrast vision issues as well!
