Bought for undersink hook-up for our new frig water/ice during our kitchen reno ...
I will never again use a pierce/saddle valve for my frig hook-ups. I added an under sink 1/4" water line valve on the cold water supply under the sink. Used this Eastman 1/4" 20' water supply line through the floor, across under the kitchen to the frig and punched up into the wall behind the frig, where I hooked it to a shut-off in a Eastman wall outlet (with hammer arrestor). I used a 6' Eastman supply line from the wall outlet valve to the back of the frig. Flexible and coils easily for moving the frig away from the wall. I really like this set-up. Looks clean and professional. The best part is that I never realized how restrictive the pierce/saddle valves can be. With this set-up, the water pressure at in-door water dispenser is much stronger than you get through a pierce/saddle valve.

Great hose!
Used this hose to go from shut off in wall to another shut off near the refrigerator for ease of shutting off water and moving the fridge when necessary. great hose, no leaks!

No leaks, no issues
Used to connect the water line for my ice maker to the water supply. Screwed on easily, and no leaks, so it has done everything I've asked of it.

Well made quality item
This hose did what it was supposed to and worked fine. Would recommend if you want to make sure there are no leaks if you’re installing a water filter behind you fridge like I did

So far so good; 10 year burst warranty
No complaints. Some people complained of the taste... but I tasted the water and it tasted fine to me.Install was pretty easy... remember not to overtighten... just hand-tighten and then do 1/2 a turn with a wrench.I received my hose in early April 2022 and it had a date of 2021-11-09 which I assume must be when it was manufactured. It says the hose was made in Taiwan and was reinforced and packaged in China. This product says it is guaranteed not to burst for 10 years, but otherwise has 1 year warranty on defective materials and workmanship. The previous water line I had said to replace every 5 years and it did not have a stainless steel braid so it looked more plasticy and vulnerable. I replaced it with this line since it was about 5 years old and I wanted to prevent possible damage from it leaking or bursting.

Best seal
I had previously bought a 15 foot of a different brand. After install it was to long and returned to get this hose, This had better gasket and seal then other hose , literally hand tighten ad 1/2 to 3/4 turn,Even if you over tighten this is going to be more foregiving, but trust in the hand tight and slight tighten,Quality hose connections

OMG - I Should Listen to other reviews.... Water taste is awful Tast as rubber or weird plastic
Hello,Just to let you know that I barely make a difference between water tasting but this connector...damn it make water so horrible that anyone can taste it.I had a plastic line before on my refrigerator but I want it something more durable so I bought this item (25 ft).Wow I made a huge mistake...I bought this icemaker connector and installed it yesterday.Because of the others bad reviews I flushed the water directly to the sink for 30 minutes non before installing it. At the end of I made a testing taste and it was a little rubbery but tolerable. So I installed it trough my cabinet.I also flushed almost 15 liters from my refrigerator with that sequence. Flush 20 sec water and waited 60 sec and until 20 liters...it took me about 30 minutes.I made another test and the taste was rubbery and more rubbery this time.By the way I have an LG refrigerator with genuine filter installed. This morning I went to make an another tasting test and this time the taste is AWFULLL. It's like if i'm drinking my tires...horrible....I'm now flushing every hours or so 2 liters of water, just to see if it goes away...But the taste still horrible until now.I will try to test it for 2 weeks and keep you updated. But seriously...if you can, just avoid all that trouble. This is my 50 cents ;)

Great product.
Work great fits well way better than using copper tubing.. Hopefully feeling of security that I will never leak. No foul smell did flush a few gallons of water through it prior to using. Not sure what all the complaining about is work great for me plenty of length more than needed to pull fridge out.

Bad taste
I Hooked this to my ice maker and it gave the ice a very bad taste. I don't believe this is lined with PVC but more of some type of synthetic rubber. . I disconnected the one end from the fridge and filled a large measuring cup and it was Clearly this hose giving the bad taste. Bought a new hose at the local hardware store for the same price and it solved the problem. I would not recommend this product.

Works great if you follow the instructions and tips! Flush it for at least an hour! Works great!
I was hesitant based on what I read but it sounded like if I flushed it for a while before I installed it, that all would be fine, and it was!Hooked it up to water source and let it run for about an hour, used water for plants and garden outside so no waste issues there. Then hooked up to fridge, no plastic taste or scent in water or ice for any of the 5 people in our house who use it.About half the price the orange box wanted to charge... and I got it the next day so thanks Amazon Prime!Dave

Made the ice taste nasty
Installed, ran a ton of water through it to ensure it was clean… then ran a ton of batches of ice through the ice maker, HOPING it would eventually stop tasting like gross chemicals. Finally removed and replaced with cheap plastic lines, problem solved. Potable water.Don’t bother wasting your time with this hose.
