Lenox 12-in High Tension Hacksaw Frame

Absolutely outstanding performance from this Lenox high-tension hacksaw. I needed to cut through a broken heavy-duty boat trailer lock, and it powered through in just 10 minutes flat. Clean, precise cuts and a solid, comfortable grip made the job effortless.

A well built saw with very convenient features I expect it to last for years if you are homeowner it will probably be the last hacksaw you will ever need if properly taken care of

So far, works well during several uses cutting plastic, wood and metal. As with most saws, it can catch and be difficult during use at times. I like that there's extra blade storage space. The saw is sturdy yet lightweight with an ergonomic grip. I will update once I've experienced changing the blade.

I bought this hacksaw to replace an old one and was immediately impressed with one thing: the blade tension. This thing gets incredibly tight—so tight that it rings like a guitar string when you pluck it. This makes it perform exceptionally well, and the comfortable, rubberized grip makes it easy to handle. However, a few design quirks make it a bit fumbly to use. The "tool-free" extra blade screw came with a little metal loop that promptly fell off. This means you'll need a screwdriver. The main blade retention is also different; instead of using a pin, it pinches the blade in place. It works and doesn't rattle, but it was a surprise. The blade tensioning dial has numbers on it, which I thought was a nice touch, but it's not very useful. I had to make dozens of turns to change blades that looked identical. It's much easier to just tighten it by feel. Overall, while the tool has a few frustrating details, the most important feature—the blade tension—is excellent. This is a solid saw if you prioritize a tight blade.

First time buyer and user of a hacksaw! I needed to cut of a fused hose attachment to outside spigot. Was able to tighten with zero flexibility which made it extremely easy to saw off the hose in less than five minutes! Super sturdy, lightweight, excellent performance, easy to hold with the soft grip handle. I like that there is also a storage space for extra blades. This was a great value for the money imo. I’d highly recommend!

Great design, glad I bought from this company others looked sketch. Ripped right through the metal on a broken electric recliner stuck in the extended position. Good Buy. About to chop a high standing bar table down 4" and have no doubt it will rip through it like butter on toast.

Mas isso garante a força ganha nos cortes e pela tensão da lâmina, não vejo um ponto negativo por ser mais pesada que outras serras do mercado. A troca de lâminas também funciona de forma rápida e simples. A lenox acertou no produto como sempre e recomendo a serra para trabalhos pesados. Qualidade nota 10, certamente a melhor que se encontra na Amazon.

Really good design. Can tighten the blade a lot which makes cutting go faster. It can be a bit tricky changing the blade though. Has storage for extra blades, though they will rattle around while making cuts. Nice and durable and not too big.
