Super easy to use / crisp edges
The Fiskars LARGE Squeeze Punch, Hexagon is really easy to use. I think the best part about the Fiskars punch is the fact that the cutout FACES you, so you can always align the paper perfectly & watch it being cut (especially if you're trying to cut out specific part of a picture). Highly suggest for anyone who may struggle with poor grip - this is really easy to hold in hand and quickly cuts with a light squeeze of the handles. I love it!I'm using the punch to accurately punch out Hexi shapes from 5"x3" index cards to have as templates for paper piecing quilts (also tested with scrapbooking cardstock, notebook paper; these also work GREAT! / watercolor paper is too thick to cut through ... so nothing heavier than crafting papers is what I found worked best). The dimensions of the punch: point-to-point = 1 1/2"; side = 3/4" VERY important notes for quilters. Will be buying more of this brand & style - larger and smaller sizes to add to the craft supply!

Where were you Fiskars when I had to cut out 500+ by hand?
An essential tool for any English Paper Piecing quilter. I did a large wall hanging using 1/2" hexagons like mosaic tiles a few years ago. It was over 500 pieces. I had to cut each one by hand. And because of that there were times when it was a little too small or a little too big. What I could have done with this little punch back then. I liked this so much I went back and go the medium and small. You can't go wrong with a Fiskars brand tool. They are very well made.

Good punch
I bought to cut out portions of greeting cards. It cuts about 75% of them, some are too thick so if scores only.

Barely cuts through anything.
I'm sure this would be great if you only wanted to cut through tissue paper, but once you get into any weight of cardstock at all, it feels like the handles are going to snap off (as many of the pictures here show). I was hoping to cut through a very flexible plastic card that's less than 1/3rd of a millimeter thick, but this just won't do it. Plastic handles here are a huge mistake. I'm probably going to return this if I can't come up with some alternate use for it. Pretty huge waste of time.

Marvelous Invention for English Paper Piecing!
I know these are made for scrap booking, but they are such a wonderful help to those of us who use hexagons for English Paper piecing. You can only do one at a time, especially if you use them with card stock as I do. However, when you're working on a large project like the one I just finished that was half inch hexagons and about 9000 (that's right, not a typo) you save time, money and your hands by using one of these gadgets. Love it!

Great Products for Making Keepsakes!
I loved this product! I used it to cut out sections from cards given to us at our wedding. I pieced all of the pieces together to make collage/poster to hang in our hallway. This ensured all pieces were even and centered. Some of the thicker cards I had a bit of trouble punching out so it may take 3-4 tries. Would recommend! (Pictured is the pieces cut before assembling poster)

Works well with thin paper (67 lb cardstock)
Takes more effort with thicker paper. I tried it on some thin cardboard and it wouldn't cut through. The corners don't appear sharp in the punched paper, I'm not sure how this might affect the design. Also the large size appears to be fairly small, I wish I had gotten the X-Large.ETA: this punch works well with lightweight card stock (67 pound), but any heavier will be difficult to cut.
