It works very well and is much better and comfortable that those silicone blobs you place on the ear (we combined them, but then realized that only the band was necessary most of the time).However, it does look rather rugger after 3 months of standard use. Granted we went to the sea with it, but only twice and did wash if afterwards. It still WORKS perfectly, just doesn't look good. So for what it is intended, I'll give it a five.

My son has ear tubes and our ENT recommended this product. We have used this without ear buds for times when my son took baths or showers and it kept the water out. For better protection, we use ear.buds. along with the ear bandit and it works wonderfully. At first I was afraid my son wouldn't like having this band on his head, but he didn't mind it at all after the first try.A few notes:*make sure to follow the measurements. If it does not fit snugly, water may drip into the ear canals.*after about 6 months of daily use, I could not wash the musty smell out and it did fray a bit on the sides. However, I am not lowering my rating on it because to me, anything that sits in close contact with the skin and is worn daily will eventually take kn smells despite constant washing and will show signs of wear. I treat this like I treat a toothbrush--I relplace it every few months.I would highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to protect their ear canals from moisture.

Got this for my daughter who has to wear ear plugs in the pool. We were tired of her ear plugs popping out or floating away. This works nice with the moldable silicone ear plugs. It took a few tries on the first time to get it adjusted just right on her head to feel comfortable and stay on. She is extremely petit and has a very small head. She is 5, but usually wears infant/toddler hats, so I took a gamble and ordered the small and it fit her perfectly. My other daughter is more "normal" weight and height for her age is also 5 and needed the medium. So I would say they fit true to size unless you have a child with a much smaller or larger head than normal. As an adult with a fairly normal/small head I needed the Large.

My 4 yr old girl loves to swim and go to the beach. However, with ear tubes she was advised to be cautious in lake water and must wear ear plugs. This band is perfect at holding them in. We practiced wearing it in the tub or back yard blow up pool and before we knew it she was comfortable wearing it and knew to put it on whenever we got to the beach without complaint.

I purchased this to keep the ear plugs from falling out in the pool. They definitely kept them from falling Into the pool but didn’t keep the ear plugs in place.

Stays in place and doesn’t fall off or move around while swimming. It keeps the water out of my child’s ears.

My daughter has really bad ear problems. She’s had tubes 3 times in both ears and is about to have surgery on her left from her last set of tubes! So taking baths and swimming is very difficult on her. This product has helped decrease the amount of water that gets to her ears! She loves it! Very well made and very durable!! My 5 year old approves!!
