I was torn on which self-tanner remover to buy, but I went with this one based on decent reviews—and I’m glad I did! I was desperate to remove a self-tanner that made me look super orange (I’m pretty pale), and this product definitely did the job. I paid for expedited shipping and got it the same day. It took about 2–3 washes to fully remove the tanner, but it worked well overall. The only thing I noticed was a slight stinging sensation after letting it sit on my skin for 5 minutes before rinsing—it wasn’t painful or irritating, just a little odd. My skin didn’t react badly or turn red, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker. In a tanning emergency, I’d definitely buy this again!

I’m not one to leave product reviews but this stuff is so so terrible. The first time I used it I had shaved a few hours before, and my skin was literally on fire. It felt like a bunch of fire ants were biting me. I figured it was because I just shaved. But after trying it again, not shaving anytime near, and somehow it hurt even more. I’ve checked all the ingredients and do not have an allergy to any nor do I have sensitive skin. But besides the fact of you feeling like your skin is about to fall off, it barely even works. You have to scrub your skin so hard and I still had some patch spots I saw a review to leave it on for 10-30 minutes before, so I did 20 and after feeling like I was about to die, I washed it off and nope still did not work any better leaving it on for longer. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!!!!!!!!!

This review comes from a once-a-week religious self tanner for years and years now. I am VERY pale. Translucent, basically. I use self tanner year round because I look sick without it. I wish there was a magic product that made it super easy to get week-old tan off, but there’s just not. This, however, does help significantly. Prior to finding this product, I would use exfoliating scrubs, baking soda, you name it, to get my old tan off. I’m not one of those people that can’t get away with constantly reapplying self tanner - I have to start fresh each week. Thus, it used to take me 45 minutes to an hour in the shower once a week trying to get the old tan off and it was so awful I’d end up in tears half the time. This has cut the process down to about 20 minutes. Put it on, let it sit about 5-10 minutes, then get in the shower with an exfoliating mitt. Generally takes me about ten minutes in the shower to get it all off. It doesn’t just “rinse off” like the bottle says, but it makes it much, much, much easier to get off by scrubbing with a mitt than if you were scrubbing skin you hadn’t prepped with this. There are a few key elements here to getting this to work as best it can: 1. It works better if you let it sit on your skin closer to 10 minutes rather than 5. 2. Use a just exfoliating mitt in the shower - NO soap - this was a mistake I made initially but then read somewhere it works better when the mitt has direct contact with the skin. Can confirm it’s much easier to scrub off with no soap. 3. It takes off week-old tan way better than a few days. I don’t know if I’d even attempt it unless my tan was at least 4 or 5 days old. I usually do it at 6-7 days. All that said, I’m giving it four stars because it has made my self tanning life much easier than it once was and I’ve rebought it many times and use it every week. Do I wish it genuinely rinsed off like the bottle says? Yes. But as someone who used to have to get self tanner off without this, it’s still much easier using this than not. And in case anyone’s curious, I do this process at night, let my skin dry while I’m sleeping, then put Coco and Eve Sunny Honey foam on in the morning.

This is not great for newer tans, I had a bad tan that I was trying to correct, it did not work at all to remove it, actually a body scrub worked way better than this

This stuff is a life saver when I need to remove the stubborn tan spots that just don’t seem to fade out evenly. Easy to apply short wait time and simply rinse away and you’re ready for your next tan. It doesn’t take a lot of product for each use so bottle lasts a good amount of time.

I have tried four different types of tan remover from Amazon. From cheap to the most expensive. Left this on for 10 minutes and the tan slid off me. Just used my exfoliating mitt, but barely had to. No more scrubbing and digging into my skin. For me, THIS WORKED! And better yet, it preps your skin also. Every product is different for everyone, but I sure hope you give the ST. TROPEZ tan remover a try and I hope it works as good for you as is did for me! 🥂 to safe tanning 😘

I had some major splotches on my legs due to getting in the pool a few days after tanning. This product removed 95% of the self tanning on my body and I only left it on for 10 minutes. I am going in for a second time today and going to leave the solution on for longer as some reviews suggest. Major downside is the fragrance is super strong and it’s not bad but very chemically. However I will use it again, due to need. Bottom line: this is a product to have in your tool belt especially if you are a novice self tanner. No product works the. Same on anyone so find what works best for you.

Ich habe mir das Produkt schon öfter gekauft und es tut was es soll und hält auch relativ lange. Ich benutze ab und zu Selbstbräuner und nach einer Zeit löst sich die Farbe an paar Stellen. Mit diesem Produkt kann man die Flecken schnell entfernen. Es funktioniert auch wenn man nur Selbstbräunungsspray fürs Gesicht verwendet.

Il enlève parfaitement l’auto bronzant sans problème, je suis même choquée maintenant je n’ai plus de problème de taches ou quoi et je peux refaire mon autobronzant quand je le souhaite
