Impressive waterproof camera for affordable price
Super little camera for the price! Sometimes I just don’t want to lug around my SLR and I sure don’t want to take it kayaking with me. This little camera has been great fun on and off the water. The adapter that plugs in to the wall doesn’t work. I haven’t bothered to request a new one since I have plenty and the cable that came with it works fine. It appeared cheap and possible even used since it had a white paint circle on it that appeared odd to me. Camera works great and that’s all I care about. Love being able to send pics to my phone directly from the camera and share right away.

This is a great camera. When I first got it after a few weeks it would not charge or power on. I sent it back to the company and they gave me a new one. Takes great pictures and video. Had it 35 feet deep with no problems. This is an update after using the camera for a full year. This is a great camera. I've had it for a dive trip to Bonaire. Worked well to a depth of 50 feet. I use it at the beach and kayaking all of the time. Takes great pictures. I purchased a plug in charger with four extra batteries. I like this much better that having to plug in the camera with the access door open all of the time. I've attached some pics taken with the camera.

Great small camera for traveling.
I purchased this for my parents who were going on an Alaskan Cruise. I tested it out before their trip with a few photos inside a building and also was able to create a 2 hour video that I turned into a timelapse. They said it was really easy to use and convenient. The battery life is shorter than desired, but I also purchased some extra batteries (didn't last as long as the original one). Original battery lasted about 2 hours with straight video, but during pictures only it was about 3. The extra batteries lasted about 1.5 hour with videos, and about 2 hours with pictures... Great photos up close and far away. I can't wait to use this underwater to see how it does. I am very impressed with this camera (coming from a girl who is used to 4K footage) even though it is 1080p.I also purchased a small travel bag, which was able to fit the camera, extra batteries, extra SD Card, and the charging units.Small Travel Bag: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DUGZEWK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Extra Batteries: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UFSDGQC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

UNDER THE SEA
I took it to the beach, took pictures under water and it survives!!! It's very durable, I let my baby play with it! The pictures are great quality and many different options it's like having a SLR camera. It fits in my pocket and it's not too heavy. I guess if I had to say something bad about this camera is that when you're shooting a video, it goes blank on the screen while filming to save battery, so you don't really know what you're shooting or if your subject is in frame unless you look through the viewfinder.

I purchase this camera before it was listed as water proof and I was taking a vacation where it was important to have that feature. The camera worked well and took great photos, but once I had it in the water it stopped working. The sealed was definitely locked, but obviously it didn't hold. I was able to put the camera and memory card in rice. I was able to get the memory card to work, but I was unable to get the camera to work again. I'm trying now to get Fuji to replace it. Not sure I would want to trust this camera in water. Fortunately I had purchased several memory disk, and I recommend that if you do plan to have a camera around water you swap out the memory disk so you don't loose any photos, just to be on the safe side.

Love it!
On vacation I take this cam to the beach and all water activities. Never have to worry about breaking it.Picture quality and light exposure are great plus it has 5X OPTICAL ZOOM.I tried getting an action cam and those things SUCK BIG TIME!!!If you are debating whether or not getting and action cam for it's ruggedness and waterproof quality than you better off with this camera. Action cams have very bad picture quality and low light exposure.

Memory card not included.
Did not come with the memory card. It is a nice camera and we already own two of this model (I have one and my son has one). We bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter based on the fact that it is dustproof, waterproof, freeze proof and shock proof, basically kid proof. Anyway, it is a great, reasonably priced digital camera for kids, or when you don't want to drag your big, dSLR with you....or if you are boating, skiing, or hiking in a dusty (or potentially wet, like in a river) area and don't want to ruin your cell phone or dSLR. I was shocked though that this one did not come with a memory card at least, that seems pretty cheap to me to not include it.

Very happy with this camera!
I bought this to take on a swimming holiday in Greece. It worked brilliantly. I was a little nervous about salt water at first but it seemed to fair well right from the first. I carried it tucked into the top of my swimsuit to have handy just in case, so it was completely submerged all the time I was swimming. The photos are great (though not as nice as my Galaxy) . I also purchased an accessories kit for it which included an extra battery and floaty wrist strap, among other things. Good purchase but the one battery easily lasted for a couple of days of use.I recommend getting to know the settings and how to switch up the shooting mode quickly. It has wifi so it hooks up to your smart phone or tablet to transfer the photos with the Fuji app, however I found that it works best with a very strong wifi signal (not the case at our hotel) and if you only select a few photos at a time to upload. You can also use the usb to upload to your pc, of course.Video worked well and underwater still and video were pretty good, though I found it helpful to zoom on schools of fish etcAll in all, very happy with my purchase!

Waiting for summer to dunk it
Looking forward to getting this camera into the pool or ocean, especially because its depth tolerance is greater. On dry land it takes nice pics; not outstanding, but fine for normal shooting.Tested out the wifi transfer and it works well, which is one one of the main features for which I bought this camera. If you're on Apple IOS, be sure to get the proper app from the store because there are two or three. Fujifilm "Camera Remote" is the right one.

Great camera. Works as expected and it's sturdy enough so you don't have to worry about it when taking it to capture some action pictures while out and about during our outings.

Great features.
Awesome point and shoot camera. I also have a older XP60 and I really like the added features in this camera. The WIFI capability is great, I paired it using the app on my Iphone and now I can be in group photos and see the picture on my phone before I take it. An other feature I like is the timed continuous photos option, I can take photos at every 30sec for the next 30 minutes while I<m working so I get pictures of the progress without stopping to take a picture, very happy with my purchase.

love this up graded version of my old camera!
i absolutely love this camera! my last camera was a fujifilm xp50 and i so loved it that i chose to go with the same camera but up graded to the newer version. i have to say that the improvements with the xp80 are fantastic! it will take me some time to learn how to use all the things this camera is capable of doing. the only complaint is that the instructions are in such fine print i have difficulty reading them even with glasses.
