A real quarter of an inch
This works well. It is fairly accurate in the 1/4 inch status. I did bend one of these in the past.

Perfect fit for low shank Janome 2212
I was worried foot would not fit my low shank machine, but it fit perfectly. After attaching, I sewed a perfect 1/4 inch seam!

This is my spare,my other 2 came from a local sewing shop,1st one was 3 years old and the outside piece broke,still using the 2nd 5 years but 8.00 on Amazon is better than 18.00 a piece

Not compatible with the Janome 3160 QOV-C machine.
First (and only) time I used the foot on my new Janome the needle hit the foot instead of the hole.I’ve used these feet before and they are wonderful. This one isn’t compatible with this machine.
