These Gibson holders are the most sturdy, easy to use stands for a variety of sizes and shapes of glassware and china. They fold to a compact size for easy storage. They unfold to hold your item at whatever perfect angle that you wish it to be. Your displayed item sits firmly on a solid, no-tip base (unlike tripod types of holders that can easily tip over). The plastic base will never chip or mar the edge of your glass or china items (unlike metal holders that sometimes do), and the plastic coated support wire will never leave marks on the back of your displayed item. The holders are durable, and made to last . They are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate a wide range of items. As dealers in antique and collectible glassware and china items, we've used many dozens of these holders, always with favorable results. We use them for plates, bowls, books, and most anything that we want to display in an upright position. Having used other display stands over the years, we've found Gibson holders to be the best!

My wife wanted to display a lot of dishes in a hutch and she brought me a very old late stand. She asked me to find some and it turned out these things are still made. These are well made, can display two plates (one in front of the other) and the support for the back plate is very sturdy. It stays in place well, yet is adjustable. At this price, I was shocked at how good the quality was.

I wish I'd bought more! They not only hold my heavy plates, they allow me to display my cookbooks so the covers face outward. They are truly museum quality, clear and strong. They would be fine for displaying anything in a shop, or as I use them for decorating in my home. I used them at Christmas to display little crystal dishes, and placed greenery around. The holders simply don't call attention to themselves, and work for everything from heavy platters to the lightest item that needs a prop. They are fully adjustable so you can get exactly the angle you want. I think I've just talked myself into buying another box!

I found these to be very versatile. I have three different size plates 7 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch and they all fit. Some of the plates are heavy and these stands did not tip or seem at all unsteady. I also can display vintage bowls.The display stand is adjustable, so it can fit most plates/bowls.Less than a 7 inch plate would show the top of the stand, but it would still work.I would buy these again.Price is very reasonable.

I love this product and use it everywhere! I used these for various glass plates and bowls - ranging in size from 7" to 14". The clear acrylic isn't overly dressy; however, it allows the piece to stand on it's own and looks great. My favorite part about these is that you can adjust the angle of the piece to be perfect for the space and height of the shelf. These are perfect for curios and shelves where you see the items from the front. I'm not quite as happy on the shelves where you see the easel from the side. However, I haven't found anything I like better either.

I have made stained glass plaques for nearly 40 years, I started with Gibson easels, then the stores handled some off brands...so glad to have these back in studio and available!!! My customers like them too. Sturdy and don't slip. However, the flimsy box with the stacked easels was just in a cardboard sack, plastic easels could've easily got broken. Better outside box would be my suggestion.

Works exactly as intended. large enough to stand up a book, or medium sized wooden card boxes which is what I am using them for. The metal bar is still and plastic coated so it will not scratch anything. It is very securely screwed to the plastic base so it will not move or slide. When you adjust the metal bar to your preferred settings, the plastic base may warp a little on you so it won't sit on the shelf flush. Just grab both ends and give it a little twist and it will align right back up no problem.

This type of display stand works much better than any other stand. Would totally recommend.
