Awesome! Use plaster of paris with this to make very detailed fossils. This mold can be used over and over again. Simply clean it well after each use to prevent build up in the detailed areas, and it makes the next batch of fossils as perfect as the first. I made fossils in this over and over so each of my students could have one. Then we painted them, and they turned out beautiful! My only wish is that they would make another kit like this with different fossil shapes for more variety!

It was fun and I like how easy it was to do, but the magnetic strip included in the box will only support the weight of a paper clip. If you are planning to use them as magnets plan on getting MUCH stronger magnets!

I have a friend who lets us hunt on her private beach for sharks teeth, so I bought this set to use the shark tooth mold and make her a little thank-you gift. I looked everywhere for a shark tooth mold and this was the only one I could find. I of course washed and sanitized the mold before using it for food use. But it worked really well for what I needed it to do. And I will also be using materials provided in the kit to make the fossil imprints as well.

I bought this thinking it had somewhat durable molds to make plaster casts of fossils. The molds are cheap plastic and though it did make a decent cast it wasn't worth the money in my opinion.

I bought these for my daughters class. The class had a great time making these while learning about fossils. The molds worked great for use over and over. We added magnets to the backs once they were dry. I would recommend this product for a hands on approach to learning about fossils.

My grandson who Is a little scientist loved this kit. Easy.. everything worked . He is six and did it all himself.

Great adventure toy... children are given everything they need to create a three dimensional replica of a fossilized shark tooth and other fossils. The younger kids will need a little guidance, and over 8 can finish the project alone. You end up with a very realistic fossil shark tooth.
