A few folks on a haircare forum recommended this to me when I was asking about moisturizing shampoos. I've only used this twice so far, but I love how rich it is and how healthy my hair feels after using it. It has a lovely, rose-like scent, and you need just the smallest amount to clean your hair.It's also sulfate- and silicone-free for those following the Curly Girl routine.I have red tones in my hair and red is notorious for fading very quickly, but this definitely extends the vibrancy of my color.Be aware that this is now a newer formulation that has a few different ingredients than the previous version. It still is gentle and works well to protect your color.

I started using this around 5 or so years ago when my hair dresser recommended it to me. I didn't have color treated hair, but she said that the same ingredients for preserving color help manage long hair. Additionally, I LOVE that it's vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, sulfate free, and silicone free. It's hard to find a shampoo that I find ethical for such a good price. My last bottle of 33 oz shampoo I bought 2 years ago--it's lasted me such a long time.It's made without harmful ingredients, it's vegan and ethical = it's a steal all around!

Pair this with the color protect conditioner and solve your itchy scalp problem for good. My son and I both use it and it works when nothing else does. It works all around as a good scalp relief for those who suffer from an itchy scalp. Don’t worry about not having colored hair. The Color Protect gets the best reviews.

There are very, very few shampoos and conditioners that I can use because my hair is extremely dry- parched, really. I can use liquid keratin, and Abba. Being a vegetarian, I LOVE that this is never tested on animals, and is also free of all the bad chemicals you want to avoid absorbing into your body. It's a win, and my hair is fine, frizzy and parched.

I have been using this shampoo for about 10 years and I love it! Prior to finding it I tried tons of other salon brands and spent lots of money. My hair isn't particularly difficult, but everything else leaves it either too dry or too weighed down. This shampoo gives me just the right amount of moisturizing while protecting my hair color.Every couple of years, I decide to try some NEW product just to see if there's anything better. I ALWAYS come back to ABBA. The conditioner is awesome, too!

Been using this product for years. I color, but with semi-permanent (no peroxide) and it's gentle on the coloring & my hair. Good product. Believe it or not, I have thick medium length hair and wash it daily. A bottle this size will last about 8 months.

I have used this shampoo for many years, but this is the first time I have purchased it from Amazon. I was very disappointed with the condition of the bottle itself. It was filthy! I had to wash the exterior of the bottle with soap and water before I could use it.

I stumbled upon this shampoo while stocking up at Beauty Brands' infamous liter sale, and thought I'd give it a try. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shampoo! It's paraben & sulfate free AND still actually works! Does wonders for my dry scalp without making my roots oily, so I can wash my hair every other day or so. I'll be stocking up on this stuff when the liter sale starts up again in July ($11.99 a liter).
