Maisy Goes Shopping

I first found out about the Maisy books when I worked as a librarian. The preschool and kindergarten students love them. I have been purchasing them for my grandson who is two and he loves them too. The illustrations are simple and easy to understand. The characters who are Maisy's friends are the same in each book. I love the simplicity of these books and I believe that is what appeals to my grandson.

Classic Maisey!

My 2 1/2 year-old daughter loves Maisy, and loves this book! She has memorized most of the words, and relates the story to when she and I go shopping at the market together. She loves for me to read it over and over and over, which is fun for both of us. The pictures are simple, yet bold and colorful. GREAT for toddlers and preschoolers!

Great Maisy book. Only thing is, these very inexpensive ones are also VERY short. So if you're used to the hard-cover library Maisy books, this will seem quite brief. But... for a toddler, that's not a big deal. And the story is pretty cute, and introduces the concept of buying groceries at the store. Recommended.

Not exactly “Maisey goes on an airplane” caliber but still pretty good.

My son, who just turned 2 years old, loves all the Maisy books. The stories are very simple to grasp and the large, bright pictures grab his attention. They focus around ideas that every young child can relate to such as going to the grocery store, using the vacuum cleaner, and bedtime routine. My son loves to point out all the things he is familiar with in the pictures and we read at least one Maisy tale each day.

My 2-year old daughter loves books about Maisy and I will keep buying them. The only thing about this one is I wish it was hardcover which would make it more durable - my daughter is not always gentle with her books; but other than that it's perfect: very well written, nice bright pictures, fun and perfect for toddlers.

I bought this book for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loves all the Maisy books that I have bought for her and/or borrowed from the library but this one is currently her favorite. She requests us to read it to her every night before bed and she even started "reading" it to us from memory! One last item to note is that some Maisy books have some questionable plots / storylines even for young children's books, but this one actually flows nicely.

Very lovely book with great price! Bright pictures! Perfect for 2 year old kids! My daughter loves watching the Maisy Cartoon on YouTube, she loves this book so much!

Leggo i libri di Maisy a mio figlio di 6 anni la sera prima di andare a dormire. In questo modo sta imparando tanti termini in inglese.

Excellent achat pour une initiation à l'anglais pour enfant de 2 ans (ou même 18 mois). Texte très simple, comme toujours avec Mimi la souris, et illustrations très parlantes.
