Great information
Nice to have on hand such a basic reference

Lime Mortar Explained
Lime Mortar was always a mystery to me. No longer. A little technical for a restoration / builder in parts but full of useful information. It has given me confidence to experiment with local sands and aggregates.

Good book
short book, had some of the info that I was looking for. After googling, I found that a bit of the info came from various websites online (almost word for word) Lots of charts and content is regurgitated throughout the book. Overall, a good book if you know nothing about lime mortars.

A brief introduction to Lime Mortar
Given the size and content the I thought the book should have been much cheaper. The photos and images are black and white and of poor quality.
