Whirlpool 12001541 Drum Roller for Dryer

I used these to replace the cheapie non-OEM rollers I bought three months ago for my 2004 Maytag Neptune dryer (which uses the same rollers as many other dryers from that timeframe; I also have a part # 303373 for the rollers). The cheapie rollers literally came apart (the rubber outer on the wheels started coming off in small chunks on both rollers after maybe 30 to 40 light cycles of laundry).Sure, a pair of these true OEM rollers set me back almost $30, which is almost three times the cost of the non-OEMs. But I would NEVER buy non-OEM rollers again, because I have more fun things to do with my life than taking apart my dryer every three months!Just bite the bullet and buy the OEM wheels, period. If you do the job yourself, you are still saving a ton of cash versus hiring a repair person (and they would probably use OEMs and charge you double for the parts versus what you pay on Amazon, let alone the labor cost).Good luck with your appliance repair!

These parts are genuine OEM parts of the same quality as on your original dryer. They come with the fiber washers, but not the metal snap rings to hold the wheels in place. You can re-use the original snap rings or buy new ones elsewhere. DO NOT waste your money on cheaper rollers with bright white hubs; they will break within a few days. These wheels with the off-white hubs are OEM and are much higher quality. Well worth the money to replace them once - not three times like I did.

The roller ended the problem I was having (unbalanced, very clunky dryer bin rotation). Installation was a little tricky, more so since I did not go through the whole process of removing the back of the dryer first and instead installed it from the front, which involved a tight space and pushing the drum up and out of the way.Be aware that this is ONLY the roller and does not include the pins needed to hold it in place. This is as mentioned in the description, but it really is a good idea to change out those pieces as well when repairing the roller.

Good solid hard rubber not that cheap plastic like crap you get with the china knock offs that only last a couple months . This is oem quality 👍

I purchased this Pulley and many other Parts for a Dryer overhaul.It was amazing I could actually find OEM Parts.Pulley was a prefect fit.

I made the mistake of others and bought generic parts, only to have them fail within weeks. I am now buying this part because this is a Brand name maytag part

Works good, quiet dryer again. 5 stars, but know it isn't 5 star for ease of installation. Not real hard, but not easy, not the parts fault

Chose this one because it's OEM. Maybe a fee bucks more, but saw too many bad reviews of the cheaper knock-offs. It came with the two washers and works great. Dryer is back running again.Speaking of OEM, this is listed as a Whirlpool part, but came with a leaflet that has Maytag on it. As I understand it, Whirlpool acquired Maytag several years back. So rest assured if you have a Maytag dryer, this is probably the right one. Mine is a 11 year old Maytag and is exact match...and is probably the same roller used on a gazillion models.
