Elite Sportz Electrolyte Pills for Hydration

I have owned a bottle of these for about 2 months. After running a marathon and cramping up at mile 10 it was suggested that I take some sort of salt tablets. I looked and researched the reviews here on Amazon and got these. Needless to say 2 months in I am very satisfied. I pop 1-2 tablets before and during my runs and I do not find myself cramping. Perhaps it is all mind games but for me it has worked. During the same 2 month duration I have also taken these pills pre and post party. Lets face it I like to drink sometimes. I will have a few beers during sports seasons and a glass of wine. I drink hard liquors on occasion. And an afterproduct of drinking is the hangover. I find that taking 1-2 pills before I drink and 1-2 pills after with some water and the next morning I feel a lot better. I would wake up with headaches and nausea but these pills help prevent that sort of thing (at least for me). Ill be buying these same exact pills again for the reasons I specified above. Edit 12/11: I am no way a regular marathon runner but on 12/10 I ran the Honolulu Marathon. The past 2 years I came down with severe muscle cramps. I searched Amazon and after reading reviews I went with this brand. I took 2-3 pills every hour and the cramps stayed away. When I "felt" a cramp coming I took a pill and the cramp never fully engaged or materialized. These pills absolutely work for muscle cramps and I am living proof of that. My body and legs were sore but cramps never happened. Im pretty stoked about this. As I try to live a healthier lifestyle I want to continue training and running marathons and these Elite Sportz Salt Pills will definitely be a part of my running.

This is a great product. I will say it works great...just only use it when you really do need it. This is not a product you use because you spent 30 minutes in the gym watching TV and texting your girlfriend. This product is for real. If you take this product when you don't need it I'll tell you what you will get....dry crusty lips. I take this product during and after high endurance races and bike rides. I took it after a tough mudder and never had a cramp. Prior to using these tablets I would cramp up at night after a real hard workout session (usually a big bicep day). I would get cramps in my bicep while brushing my teeth (of all things). Through trial and error (see the crusty lips comment) I have found the dosage that works for me and the level of work I need to have done in order to warrant taking one of these pills. I keep a small bag of these in my back pocket of my riding shirt to take mid ride on some of my long rides. No doubt when the hot Florida summers come these will come in more handy. I am glad I am able to test these now before the summer comes and I really need them.

Except for sodium, these actually have more of the other electrolytes than SaltStick Caps, but for half the price. The sodium amount is only slightly lower than SaltStick (200 mg compared to SaltStick's 215) so when compared with the other difference in electrolytes, they are directly comparable, if not better than SaltStick Caps. I work outside in a very physically demanding job that strains my muscles and makes me sweat profusely, so I take electrolytes throughout the day. After using SaltStick Caps for about a year, I saw these as an option on Amazon and decided to test them out. I saw absolutely no difference in performance between the two whatsoever. They are equally effective at curbing cramps, restoring electrolytes, etc. The only real difference I noticed was the taste, but I'm weird and open up the caps and dump the powder into my water to take electrolytes on the go. These have a little bit more of a chemical taste whereas SaltSticks have more of a mineral taste, but it's not a big difference, and definitely not a big enough one to stop me from taking these over SaltStick Caps. If you just take them as directed on the bottle, you will not notice the difference at all. TL;DR Save yourself the additional $12 and buy these instead of SaltStick Caps.

I get a LOT of foot cramps...some leg cramps, too. I drink a lot of water all the time, but it just seems that no matter what I do, or how much water I drink, I still get very frequent cramps...painful, painful cramps. I did some research and found these pills and THEY WORK, and they WORK QUICKLY! Just 8 ozs of water with them is all that's required, although I always drink much more that that when I take them (usually 2). And it is amazing how quickly the cramps ease and then completely go away. I haven't timed it (when in pain I don't think clearly!) but it is just a matter of minutes...maybe (MAYBE) 10-15 minutes max? I think, anyway. Having, in the past, spent long periods of time trying to relieve/reduce cramping, it seems like this is nearly instantaneous, comparatively speaking! And they are "Subscribe & Save" eligible! There is a certain amount of sodium in them...and I have issues with water retention, so I have to watch my sodium intake, but these are definitely worth the extra effort (for me) because they DO relieve the cramping!

En particular yo sudo demasiado ( en media hora de ejercicio ya está mi ropa mojada literal) practico running y ciclismo por lo que después de una hora sufría siempre calambres en las pantorrillas, con este producto asunto solucionado. Termino sesiones de más de hora y media sin ningún tipo de calambres y sin reducir mi ritmo de carrera. A mí me funcionó una pastilla cada 30 minutos, intenté tomar una cada 45 pero me empezaba a dar sensación de calambres, a 30 min fue el indicado para mi.

Took 2 tablets in 4-hour of high intensity sports (under hot sun). It helped to rehydrate and replenish electrolytes and prevent migraine.

Actualizo mi comentario, esta ocasión llegó sin daño de pastillas, completamente llenas y limpio el bote. Te ayuda a incrementar el rendimiento atrasado el cansancio. Las recomiendo.
