Xbox One 500GB Console (Renewed)

It came in less then week and after 2 major downloads plus the time it took to console the game. It works great! I found lobbies quickly and easily.

I wanted to make sure I wrote something about this because I hesitated for a few weeks before buying. It has a lot of mixed reviews but I have nothing but good things to say about it. Packaging was great— console was wrapped up nice and secure with tons of bubble wrap and tape (it was actually kind of a pain getting it out) everything advertised was included (console, controller, wires) and in great shape. The power box thing (?) has been a little noisy at times but nothing too concerning. It’s frozen up momentarily a couple times but it’s an older used console so I expected some minor issues, but all in all it’s been worth the money.

Sooooo not only did I have to wait an extra 5 days to get it because the tracking info was wrong but it finally got here today. I open it up out of a brown box , was thinking it was gonna be in the original green box like they portray it. I take it out and there are scratches everywhere on the console on the adapter only thing that was fine was HDMI cord. I plug it in an get as far as creating a new email and it shuts off….in attempts to reboot it several times and also unplug it and plugging it back in after waiting a little it just got worse. Now the thing won’t even turn on. I let it chill out for a little bit again. I plugged it back in AGAIN and go to turn it on and it’s making the beep sounds when you turn it on but no white light behind the Xbox logo. Now my TV won’t even recognize if it’s on or off. Honestly screw these ppl and I just called to return it and the operator at Amazon basically told me that the seller will get back to you at their convenience and I won’t have a refund until X amount of days. Awesome. So glad they sent me a complete faulted system. Not even 30 min out of the box and I was experiencing problems. I was pretty hype about this and now I have to wait and wait some more for A new Xbox and learned my lesson never to buy refurbished products off here AND DEFINITELY NOT FROM THESE DUDES.

Arrived on time, and well packaged. Unit works great, and came with a nice grey and black wireless controller. Happy with my purchase.

Well I bought e refurbished console thinking it be better than a used one and rival a new one at a lower price...worked fine until 2weeks ago when cooling fan failed and now console won't stay on, which is fine because safety routine working to protect console. I got almost 1.5 yr out of it before issue with fan. By comparison my 360 sat idle same amt of time and fired up, had it almost 10 yes only issue w it is a dirty laser lens in CD drive. No mechanical issues from 360elite in 10yrs. I know the 1 is better and more capable, but seems like its not as durable. For all the tech and safe guards built in its down due to a faulty fan, that made noise from day one of ownership. So I advise you research carefully, not a knock on Amazon or partners, but units go bad and sometimes the refurbs aren't overhauled and checked fully. You never know until you get it so my advice is due some research new vs used vs refurbished. I bought console for $282 refurbished 500gb, the fan and tools run $28, power block $37(thought that was issue), then bought a used 1tb w gm bundle for $224(before I realized 500gb was overheating) to replace my 500gb console that I thought I lost to drive failure. I'll keep old one after I refurbish it again but point is if you get a warranty take it, Microsoft call agents aren't much help as they read a scripted routine and reset console attempts don't fix all problems. Don't get me wrong I love the consoles graphics and capabilities just wish Microsoft put more effort into quality parts instead of rushing to market to make huge profits at holiday season.

I purchased a PS4 after being an Xbox 360 owner for years. I was very pleased with the PS4,I had no problem with the way it works or the PS4 or PlayStation platform.Several of my friends from Xbox never left Xbox and I really missed gaming with them so I bought this Xbox One. The Xbox One dashboard is not my favorite,I am entirely confused by the layout.The console is big and though they have a Xbox One S now they do not have any refurbished versions because it is so new.I wanted a cheap way to be able to use Xbox with friends.It operates just like brand new.I see no flaws or issues.I take very good care of things.It should last me forever.The console updates took an hour.You can use the controller without batteries by plugging it in with a proper USB cable.The graphics are not as good but it's hardly noticeable so far.I have also been able to play Xbox360 games on it like Black Ops.It runs well.It's quiet.It won't play all older 360 games but the ones that play are better than the original. Xbox also limits your ability to stream forcing you to use Twitch or nothing.PS4 allows Twitch, Dailymotion and Youtube.I think someone would be ok with the Xbox One if they didn't mind streaming only to Twitch.I have not tried streaming or publishing game videos to know any more about it but this is a big deal to people.Gaming and having the ability to share things is a great ability. Amazon is a VERY reputable place to purchase Xbox One.
