I had trouble with the inserts on my arrows coming out when I pulled the arrow from the target. I tried every kind of glue out there and then saw this. I bought a tube and tried it out on a dozen of my arrows. The results were excellent!! I applied the glue with a cotton tip swab to both the inside of the shaft and also the outside of the insert...use sparingly...you don't need much. Twisted in the insert and let the glue cure for the maximum time of 72 hours. No mess and the extra cure time was no big deal to me. Anyone into archery, I'm sure, has more than a few extra arrows to use while the glue cures on the ones fixed (even though I could have used the arrows after a cure time of 24 hours, I chose to recommended max time). Glad I did...the results were worth it!!! I use carbon arrows and the glue being used has to be made for carbon...which this is. Good stuff...will always use it. If you want glue for adhering metal field tips or broadheads on wood arrows use hot melt arrow point glue. I can't find any on amazon but I know 3 rivers archery sells it. **Q: If i use for inserts will i have enough time to tune my broad heads before it sets? Not looking for a quick or instant bond?** A: Yes it takes several hours to set. Tips are not coming out when pulling from targets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holds solid but can be messy. *by T***D on January 30, 2016* It seems to hold very well, but it expands a lot, even if I only put a little bit on the inserts it had expanded out onto the shaft overnight on several arrows. It was not that hard to clean off so not a big deal. I also wonder if this impacts the balance of the arrow if the expansion puts more of the glue on one side of the shaft than the other. If it does it likely does not impact accuracy noticeably. I will say that since using it I have not had an insert pull out ever so it holds rock solid. If you are using carbon arrows make sure you clean the insides of them first, typically they have a lot of carbon dust in them, and if it's left there it won't allow the adhesive to stick as well.
