The 1/2" diameter of this bottling wand is greater than standard 3/8" diameter. This certainly helps with bottling speed. But, it also leaves greater headspace in the bottle. I liked the idea that the attachments screw on. I've had tips on other wands pop off while bottling. Unfortunately, the gaskets are cheap and have a tendency to leak. Great idea. Poor execution. I'd happily pay more for one with 3/8" diameter and some decent gaskets.

I used this for my first batch of wine and was impressed how much easier it is with the stopper at the end that prevents spillage while transferring wand to a new bottle. It’s stainless and cleans easy 👍👍

Too thick to fill bottles appropriately. Left too much airspace. My first batch that didn’t carbonate well. Was proud of this Belgian wit when I tasted it during bottling, but now I’ll have to mix it with blue moon or another white beer.

Just a hair to big for my bottle. Maybe I'll find something to use it on. I can't speak for performance because I haven't been able to use it yet. But it is pretty.

Spring doesn't close the valve all the way. So it does drip quite a bit. Good concept, slightly off on execution.

After ordering a plastic one twice and having it break in shipping twice, I decided to order this metal one. Works great for mead since the bottles I use are 750ml so the head space is minimal.

Good product

This beats a plastic bottle filler hands down. It is heavy duty for sure.
