Good value
Nice vise for my drill press! I have used many drill presses and vises and this one is as good as any other I have used. Very well made and sturdy. I would recommend to anyone not wanting to spend fortune on something you may use once a week.
User
High quality, works very well.
Quality is very good.Much better than the cheaper vises.
User
Exactly as described, well made and HEAVY
Solid vise, actually better than the many palmgren vises I have.
User
Excellent quality
I suffered for many years with a inexpensive drill press vise and was finally fed up. What a pleasure to use this one. You get what you pay for!
User
Great value, sturdy, well made
I bought this for gunsmithing purposes and it has served me well so far. The only thing I would highly recommend is that you GREASE THE MAIN SCREW THOROUGHLY before use. My vice arrived with a thin coat of protective oil from the factory - as will yours. So you must grease - I used a basic moly grease - the screw before you use it.Also, check the screw head bearing (the part that connects the screw to the moving part of the vice) for fit. Mine was over-tightened and the vice was consequently difficult to open/close. Use a hex bit to adjust the grub screw at the head of the moving part of the vice (on top) to a degree that allows the screw to operate easily.
