These stoppers do exactly what they are supposed to do, but the only problem is the intense odor that comes from them. These stoppers are shipped in a small plastic bag coated in some kind of substance. I assume that this coating is used to preserve the rubber from degrading during storage. This substance has an intense gasoline/diesel fuel odor to it. If you touch the stoppers with your bare hands you will not be able to simply wash it away as it lingers for a great deal of time. Even after washing these stoppers themselves several times with Dish soap the odor and coating does not seem to go away. So as long as you don't mind this the stopper are just fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good, solid stoppers for larger carboys. East to insert and east to clean. Good price, fast delivery. Can be used with glass or wood without affecting taste or color. Probably work well in shop settings, too, but not what I use them for.
