Scissors do not always match the reviewers' degree of favor. I read on and on. I did not at first want to spend the higher amount of money on these, but there is an overwhelming, consistent appreciation of the worth, sharpness, longevity, and that almost made my mind up. However, when I read nearly a dozen professional individuals address their value, and the worthwhile manufacturing and other excellent performances of these, I know, I made out like a winner. Love these scissors, thankful for the positive reviews, and that Amazon supports this fine company.

UPDATE: 7 years later and these bad boys are still slicin'. I use one pair near daily for opening boxes, kitchen stuff, etc. and I've washed them (by hand) countless times. Really well made, they look cool, and they don't rust in the intersecting part when washed and dried. These scissors are great! The are sturdy, and I have cut through thick cardboard boxes, food packaging, plastic...they are pretty darn sharp. Just be aware that the finger holes are small, so if you have really big fingers then these might not be the comfiest for you.

I like these a lot. In fact I am going to buy another set, as one of the scissors vanished a few weeks ago. I keep 2 in my kitchen, one attaches to my magnetic knife rack by the stove, the other I keep on a hook on the refrigerator. And I use them many times a day. It would be nice if they came in red, or any bright color, but I just paint a bit of red enamel on the handles, to make them more visible.

Very sharp and easy to line up, it is functional. The grip doesn't allow for fingers to fully insert, but is fine when used only with fingertips as I usually do. Comfortable for me, though I have fine fingers. I got two scissors for the price of one compared to other listings, so I got a spare if one breaks.

These scissors are amazingly sharp and perfect for my needs. I use one pair for cutting photo props and the other for fabric. They always leave a clean edge. I love the smaller size and that they are not heavy. All in all a great product!!

This is a good-quality pair of scissors. Does the job - cuts well and is comfortable to use for left-handed people like me.
