Really great product. It’s a little too long for a small boat, so you need to be careful when you throw. Ideal for shore. Vraiment bon produit. C’est un peu trop grand pour dans une chaloupe mais c’est parfait pour la rive.

I bought 2 of these for trolling off a downrigger setup as combos (rod and reel). They were good quality, well packed, and delviered on time. I have used them with good results so far. No problems. I bought 2 more of them 10'-0" long to troll dipsey divers. These came very poorly packages and it was only due to UPS being careful with them that there was no damage. The one package had the rod tip sticking out of the package. There was no paperwork with the second two. The rod and the reel were already assembled as if this had been a display model. Equipment is good, but if I am paying for new, I should recieve all the manuals and paperwork that goes with them.

Bought two and have a third on the way. Packaging was good, the product is a very good value for the money. For about $30 each, I have a very good set of down rigger rods that I can abuse for fishing the Puget Sound of Wa State. I'd rather break the tip of a $30 fiberglass rod, throw it away and have a spare ready to go than a $150+ Loomis or Llamii..... Great value for the money! So far, no performance issues and I've been fishing everyday during the month of Aug and into the first part of Sept 2017.
