Never Gets Tangled!
This was the first leash that I ever bought for my first dog and it's the most perfect leash in the world. It never gets tangled, it's incredibly durable, and has such a smooth release to the leash itself. It's much more comfortable to hold than a regular leash and the lock/unlock system is seamlessly placed near my thumb so that I can constantly loosen or lock the leash whenever my dog is sniffing something she shouldn't be.Overall, a flawless design. It even comes with an added "gift" where you can add about a foot or so of "extra" leash that dogs can "destroy" — not actually, but it's given to you so that you can use that part of the leash to get chewed on if they're learning how to be leash-trained. That way, when they're eventually trained, you'll be able to throw that part away and the rest of your actual leash won't be chewed up and destroyed.Overall, such a great product and the color is nice too! We love it! The only downside is that the skinniest part of the handle isn't great for carabiners or poop bag holders. There should be a small loop that can hold those things, but it's not a huge deal. We used the "extra" leash that they gave us and tied it to the end of the handle (in our picture). That seems to do the trick!

I cant find a reason to not 5-star this
For what I need, it's great. It takes the hassle out vs 15-30ft corded leash that's for sure. We do not have a fence (yet) and have to take the pupper out on a leash ANY time she goes out. Boo. This leash allows her to have a bit of freedom without tangling herself up. She has lunged at deer and cats and the stop worked well! I will say the cable feels thin to me. It did come with a thicker section to clip on for "biters", but only time will tell. I wish you luck! For the price why not just try it?

Good for Cats too!
My indoor cat enjoys going out into the wild as much as possible, but of course he needs an escort. I wanted to give him a reasonable amount of additional free reign so had tried a couple different brands of retractable leashes - available in the local pet stores. Honestly most of them are cheap junk, especially for smaller pets. The TUG Tiny 360° is leaps & bounds better. The design is fairly standard, but is just well made, and works right. It actually features a true nylon band rather than oversized fishing line. The only thing I think the manufacturer could improve upon is the spring tension for retracting the leash. It's a little too strong and snappy for a 10-12 lb cat/dog. I have to catch the leash in my hand every time or else yank my cat off his feet.

Quality materials
I was looking for a higher quality retractable leash for my small dog. My dog chews the leash and grabs it to lead me around so I wanted the tape style not rope style. I went with medium because the last leash purchased was not only made for small dogs but apparently was meant for small people too. I have fairly petite hands for a woman and I could not get my hand comfortably in that handle. This one is plenty big. As a matter of fact the materials are so quality that it is a little heavy. Definitely overkill for my little dog, but that was what I intended. Also, I love the additional leach attachment for 'chewers'. I wish it came with a safety wrist strap to eliminate accidental drops and to attach the poop bag holder to. (hint hint TUG) I had to rig something. Overall very happy with the purchase.

No More Falls for Me!
It’s a very well-made, easy to use product, with a 16’ retractable lead that solved a big problem for me. My property is in a hilly, dark, wooded area, which makes for unsteady footing when I take my dog out at night. I want to stay on the nice, flat, well-lit driveway and let HER go into the dark woods to take care of her doggie business. But she always wants to go further into the wooded area than her 6’ leash could reach. Sometimes she’d refuse to poo unless I left the path with her. Guess who’d lose her footing and end up on her butt on the ground- me! My new 16’ retractable leash allows me to stay on the driveway and lets her wander far enough away to allow for poo-age. No more falls for me!

Handy
This gives my Maltese a little bit more room to explore. When it’s raining, and he’s been pulling the lead out to us farthest extent, I use the lock mechanism to keep the lead out, so it can dry before letting it reel back in. He twists and turns and gets the lead wonky, but it’s easy to pull the lead out and feed it back in to the handle. The handles a little bulky, but I have small hands and the lead has to go somewhere. Overall, I’m really glad I got it and I would recommend it to other dog owners.

Small clip makes it a bit harder to clip onto or remove from collar. Otherwise great
I have an older harbor freight one shown in the photo at the top, and the clip is a nice size and very easy to put on and takeoff the leash. This one has a smaller clip, which may not seem like a big deal but it is a lot harder to work with than the one that is just a little bit larger. BIG CLIPS MATTER!Overall, it’s a great leash and I wish I could give it 4.5 but the clip is something you use twice every time you grab the leash and it is so much easier with the bigger clip. Please let me know if you make the clip bigger and I will order another one.

Strong, has a big button to lock the lead
THis lead works good. We walk a blind lab. We let her sniff around but if see gets to close to the steam or a drop off you can quickly tap the lock button to prevent the dog from wondering to far off. Its a bit heavy but it is strong for the bigger dogs, hasn't got tangled for me yet.

Best lead for strong dogs
I have a RIDICULOUSLY strong staffie! She’s not the biggest but can shred virtually any toy without fail and if she sees a cat on a walk or someone we know you best believe she’s pulling (working to get this under control, as she was a rescue we have only had for a few months:)) and she has previously snapped two extendable leads, one within the first use of it so I tried this due to the amazing reviews! And I will never go back, it hasn’t frayed, snapped or anything despite her strength and is super comfortable to hold (also a lush colour!) would highly recommend!:)

Perfect!
The media could not be loaded. Fantastic lead! It's lightweight but strong. My dog, Tiger (pictured here) is a strong boy, and nearly pulled out my partners arm when he tried running down the lake, but the lead didn't snap at all! Every other lead I've had has snapped or stopped working, especially the retractable ones.It looks nice, it's lengthy, the buttons to let it loose, hold and lock in place are great too, so fluid and simple. It even came with a spare lead if my dog were to destroy the current one! 10/10 would buy this again but I don't think I'll need to as its so good 😁😁😁

Loved it until it snapped.
This lead was amazing while it worked but unfortunately snapped at the top yesterday while walking our Dachshund he isn’t a massive dog and well within weight for This style lead. Luckily my daughter managed to catch him in time as he is a sprinter! Such a shame as it is only around 2 months old and I expected it to last a little longer. I do wonder if we were just unlucky and it was faulty.

Absolutely Shocking. Lasted less than one walk!!!
Absolutely appalled with this product, I used it for the first time ever today with on my 9kg dog. The lead was straight out of the packet, I only Walked around 5 minutes before the lead decided to snap into two without my dog pulling or chewing at it at all.Luckily I attached the extra extension so I had something to walk my dog home with!Is there anyway I can send back the lead because it broke?

Updated review
I have to give this leash a five star review. While waking our puppy my husband dropped the leash which startled the puppy who then took off running for her life thinking something was chasing her. She dragged it probably 300ft before it somehow detached from her harness (thank goodness). The leash mechanism kept catching on branches and would then catapult towards her reinforcing her fear that a monster was chasing her. My husband said he hasn't run that fast in his life. In the end the leash still works great and has some abrasions from dragging on the ground. Definitely 5 stars for durability. Update: it is now June 2022 and the leash will no longer retract. It is stuck at the current length. Also, the leash itself has frayed... Probably why it's stuck in place
