Tight space but overall not a difficult replacement!
Really good price and a fairly simple replacement!

Great, did the job.
Appears to be authentic Dorman / AC Delco. It did the trick to repair a 2001 Chrysler 300M that was throwing a variety of incorrect gear ratio & input shaft codes. Half the price of the local auto parts stores. I wish I could support my local stores more, but they can't even come close to this price...

Prevention is your best deal.
Works great. Smoother shifts at 165,000 miles. Change your trans oil and filter along with replacing the other selenoid for the best performance; I drive our 3.3 Ltr 2000 Grand Caravan hard too in the desert heat. I took out the air cleaner box to access and remove both selenoids; 1-2 hour job based on your skills.

Excellent Value
Identical form fit and function transmission shaft sped sensor. Although more often fouled by magnetic particles attaching to it than internally defective these can become defective over time, and at this price its more reasonable to replace the speed sensors than to risk further friction surface damage if cleaning wasn't the solution. Some intermittent problems only noted as occcaisional shift shock or judder that may also be weak/clogged/defective solenoid. Also suggest replacement when changing the transmission solenoid pack.

No problems
I bought this as a replacement for the sensor on my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L. I was having intermittent problems with losing power momentarily while cruising at highway speeds. Searches I did on the internet indicated that the transmission output speed sensor could be the problem. I replaced both the input and the output sensors. It has been 4 months since replacing and the problem has not come back.

Great Replacement Part!
My vehicle was showing OBDII Error Codes P0700, P0706 and P0731. Research said I had faults in my transmission sensors. Sure enough, I pulled out the input sensor and the entire top was cracked open and full of metal shavings stuck to the magnet. I decided to replace both the input and the output sensors at the same time. This item was exactly what I needed. It was very easy to install in my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. (I'm a woman, and I did it by myself. Granted, I have a bit of automotive experience, but this was no more difficult than changing the oil or a tire.)Still doing it's job smoothly 6+ months later!
