Excellent Pump for the Money
This pump replaced a 2 HP lake pump for my sprinkler system. The old pump was over 15 years old and was still available to purchase, although the price was over $1,200. The Red Lion pump was 1/3 of the cost and was exactly like the old pump in that it was the same size, easy to install and 230 volt. It runs with very low noise and pumps the water from the lake to 9 zones and over 50 sprinkler heads with great pressure. I recommend this to anyone who wants an excellent quality pump at a great price.

Red Devil caused me Hell
I wanted to share my experience with a sprinkler system that wouldn't prime. After facing issues and consulting with an irrigation company, I was advised that the well was low. Consequently, I drilled two wells, but the pump still wouldn't prime.Eventually, the well technician recommended a Goulds pump, which resolved the issue completely. To save yourself time and trouble, consider investing in a reliable self-priming pump.

Good pump, bad package for such a heavy item.
The pump was easy to install and prime. The box was very poor and was in pieces when I received the pump. The customer service was very responsive and supportive. It was well built and shows no signs of failure.
