Elenco TL-12 Banana to Mingrabber Set

This is a very high quality item...except for the mini-clips. The springs function as they should. I didn't find the problem one reviewer had with them. However, the little mini-clips themselves were fine on one lead but on the other it didn't come out all the way and did not have enough bend to make it a good "grabber". The rest of the lead is extremely well made out of excellent materials. The wire is very supple. I imagine it has a high woven wire count. The banana plugs are not only high quality but they are pass through so you can plug another set of leads in and have two active pairs at the same time. That would allow you to quickly use another style lead without having to plug and re-plug leads in.I was able to get in and shave off the extra plastic preventing the one mini-grabber from extending all the way and easily put a little more bend in the tip so it grabs better. That being so easy to do I'm giving the product 5 starts.

I'm not tough on my stuff so these connectors should last me a very long time, unless I do something stupid. I like the way you can piggyback other connectors on these, very handy. Overall, I would recommend them.

These work as intended, but the clips are a bit flimsy. They bend easily, and don't have quite as good a grip as higher quality clips have. That said, they are inexpensive, and do function well enough to be useful.

I have a bench power supply that came with alligator clip wires and that works well but I am always worried that the alligator clips will come together and short it. Although I refuse to part with the alligator clip wires, I purchase this set to plug right on top of the existing wires as a second set of leads but it turns out I like it so much that I rarely use the alligator clips any more. These hooks are easy to use and they make a strong enough connection to use them as power leads for a few amps. I like to hook breadboard jumper wires on them to power up a prototype effortless and quickly. I highly recommend them for power supplies end they are almost short-proof.

I’ve purchased many Elenco cables over the years and they have always been good quality at a reasonable price. These are no exception.

In my particular case I purchased this with a new bench power supply. These cables have come in handy. I have cables with alligator clips, but sometimes I need to apply power elsewhere as well. The banana plugs are such that you can plug these into the unit, and plug the others into these, so both sets of cables are connected. They are VERY handy.

Good bang for the buck.Wires and banana ends are nice.Grabber ends are better than hobby brands or fly-by-night retailers from a certain people's republic.Grabber ends are less robust and secure than, say, Pomona's, but at half the price, can you complain? Well, yes, but that's just the compromise you have to make. Overall, for how little I use mini grabbers over other probes, I'm satisfied.

Elenco TL-12 Banana to Mingrabber SetThis minigrabber set is solidly built. Unlike other brands, the mingrabers are well built and allow for smooth, one hand operation. I previously ordered two other minigrabber brands from Amazon and they were both unusable. I could have saved myself a lot of inconvenience if I had initially ordered this product. The banana plugs are good and the wires are flexible. I will order this product again if I need more.
