Vortex front sprockets have lightening holes to reduce rotating mass, which helps improve drive train performance. The sprockets are machined to a tight tolerance that does not exceed 0.1mm of runout, which is better than stock! Rear Sprocket: Vortex 520 rear sprocket is manufactured to close tolerances from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, then hard anodized for wear resistance, durability, and a beautiful, high-quality finish, which is black for this specific set, exactly as shown in the picture. This sprocket is lighter than the stock steel sprocket, which results in quicker acceleration due to the reduction in rotating mass. Chain: The EK SRX2 gold chain features lightening holes in the inside plates, Quadra X-Ring seals, and a very nice gold finish on the inner and outer plates. The Quadra X-Ring seals are designed for reduced friction when compared to regular O-ring chains. Reduced friction and less weight means more power to the rear wheel and better acceleration.
