SiserHolographic HTV 10" x 12" - 3 Sheets (Aqua)

This is the first time I've ever used this type of vinyl before (total newbie with a cutting machine). I bought the gold hologram vinyl. I did two cuts with it, and weeded it differently for each piece. It was very easy to cut (used the Glitter setting on my Cameo 3) and followed the directions for heating from the Siser website. Temp at 320, for 10 seconds, let it cool, then peel the carrier sheet off. I did press the image twice just to ensure it was properly adhered to the fabric. The image with the running skirt was pressed on a 60/40 blend shirt, and the other image was pressed on a 100% polyester shirt.

This is NOT Siser's Easy Weed vinyl. I read through the reviews and it looks like most people are having trouble with the application. This goes on a preheated garment, at 340 degrees, medium pressure, for 15-20 seconds, AND PEEL IT COOL! Easy Weed peels hot, this does not. With these directions (which should have been attached to the product description) this vinyl should go on just fine. I cut it with the same depth, force, and speed as any other vinyl with no trouble.

I really like this vinyl, it’s super durable and it doesn’t stretch at all. The best way to cut it on the Cricut Explore (and the newer models) is using the notch after Cardstock! It doesn’t cut through the transfer shear and it makes it super easy to weed out. I honestly just weeded my design out by hand, that’s how easy. It’s super gorgeous! And I tried to stretch it out on my testing fabric and it doesn’t budge.

I immediately questioned if I received and authentic product, as this was unlike any Siser product I’ve ever used. Difficult to weed, difficult to transfer (I use an easy press) and does not stay on after washing. Fortunately this was for a quick baby project and not something that needs to last.

Worked GREAT! I was so nervous making shirts for my kiddo’s field trip group. I hadn’t used this “smooth holographic” vinyl before. It came in flat envelopes, so it was easy to work with. I used my silhouette to design and cut, and then my Cricut Easy Press to adhere the vinyl. I’ve washed the shirt once so far, but it looks just like new! And, I didn’t do anything special—just threw it in with the rest of the laundry (high heat in the dryer and all!)

Este producto es bastante malo y difícil para limpiar, cuando haces el corte del diseño con tu plotter no hay ningún problema, lo malo es cuando vas a limpiar el diseño, el papel se rompe y te daña todo el diseño. No lo recomiendo.

I used the holographic vinyl for the scales on my mermaid shirt. It was really thick to cut so I ended up having to use a setting higher than the second "iron-on" on my cricut, but my blade might have also needed replacing. You need to use a lot of pressure to make it stick, and I had to re-iron a bit after washing and drying on low heat. But overall, pretty hapy with the result!

I've purchased LOTS of vinyl to use with both my Cricut Air & Brother Scan n Cut and these are the prettiest I've seen! they are vibrant and VERY sparkly. I love them!
