Learn to Read: A Magical Sight Words and Phonics Activity Workbook for Beginning Readers Ages 5-7: Reading Made Easy | Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st Grade : Press, Modern Kid: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Fun and educational - A lovely book, plenty to do and we’ll structures for teaching. My granddaughter was struggling with homework (age 6) and we so enjoyed working thru this book together, colouring in was a reward for her at the end of each lesson as she loves to colour. We had great fun doing this through her half term break and she loved “playing schools”. Teddy wasn’t too good at spelling but my granddaughter did really well. Well worth the money. Review: Nicely organised - I like that the words are organised alphabetically as it makes it so much easier to find the right ones. My daughters school sets her three tricky words/sight words a week- I rip the pages out of the book and put them in reusable pouches and she uses fine whiteboard pens so she can do them more than once. We have a few similar books but the ease of finding the tricky word means this is my favourite. It’s more for practicing writing than learning to read but for what we needed it’s perfect. I’m planning on buying a second copy at the end of the year so she can try it cover to cover over the summer holidays

More of a writing exercise book.
Very entertaining for children. A little confused by the activites where the child has to write a sentence of the word they are learning to read. Not many children can write full sentances but not know how to read. I'd say this is a learning to write book.
