These stools look great at my kitchen island and they were quick and easy to assemble. They seem pretty sturdy when tightened them up. The width and curve of the seat makes it actually fairly comfortable even without a cushion or a back. I like the minimalist rustic look, and they don’t take up a lot of space, they mostly tuck under the overhang of the island. I like the walnut color, it’s a dark slightly reddish brown, it coordinates well with dark chestnut accents, and distressed barnwood flooring. Very good value for the price.

The white bar stools are perfect for the kitchen island we just purchased. We loved the style, the comfort and the simplicity of them not to mention the quality and great price. Initially we did not get the hardware nor the instructions in the first delivery but we were sent another set immediately and had absolutely no problems with the return of the first set--LOVE IT! Thank you!

I only ordered one set (2 stools) the first time, but after we put them together, I liked them so much I decided to order another set. And then another.Not too difficult to assemble (I am a 73 year old grandma and my granddaughter is 15). A little hard for me to tighten the screws all the way but we did.We had to add glue to the little wooden plugs that fit over the screw holes because some would fall out when we turned the stools upright. But I think the little bit of glue solved that problem.However one of the seats on this 3rd set is starting to split. Not very noticeable, but you could feel it (uneven) on the top and bottom and it is half way through the seat (about 8 inches). I didn't notice the crack when we unpacked or while we were putting them together since the seat is face down while you assemble it. Only when I turned them upright did I see and feel it. (I could get my fingernail in it a bit.) I tried to push a little bit of glue into the crack to keep it from cracking more. But I didn't want to force it open. So I'm not sure if the glue actually got in or will do any good.Also this last set also came with a second of screws, plugs, and dowels. But no instructions. But since I had just recently put 4 together I didn't need the instructions again. However, I imagine someone received a package with no assembly pieces and 2 sets of instructions. I thought I would have a few extra assembly pieces to keep on hand, but the second set of plugs is white rather than dark walnut.Overall I am very pleased with them and now have 6 nice stools for about the cost of 2 fancy ones. And they fit under the counter and out of the way, unlike my swivel stools with backs which were always in the way and were breaking down.

These stools are comfortable and perfect for a kitchen counter. They are packed well and even come with the tool to put it together that's sturdy enough to use so you don't have to raid your toolbox for an Allen wrench. I bought two then liked them so much I bought two more.

For the price, these bar stools are a decent purchase. They seem sturdy enough and were very easy to assemble. They look great under the bar and match the décor well. However, I did encounter a few issues during assembly. Some of the wooden pegs were oddly shaped and didn’t fit perfectly into the pre-drilled holes. Unfortunately, one of the bolts broke while I was installing it, which suggests that the hardware might not be of the highest quality.Despite these setbacks, the stools serve their purpose and the height matches the description (though I realized I might have ordered them a bit too tall—my mistake). All parts were included, but be aware that no extras are provided, so if you lose anything, you’ll need to make a trip to the hardware store.Overall, these stools are fine for the price. They’re not outstanding, but they’ll do the job for now.

I bought the 2-pack of black counter-height stools. I was a bit apprehensive because some reviewers reported quality issues, but bearing Amazon's return policy in mind I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The wood seems fine, and there are no imperfections in the black paint. Both stools had the metal footrest. They're surprisingly comfortable for unpadded wood — I even spent 2–3 hours working on my laptop and that felt okay.And there's zero wobble.One caution during assembly: remember to connect everthing _loosely_. Only when you have all screws started should you start tightening them all the way. I forgot that rule and tightened each screw before starting the next, but then I couldn't get the last screw to bite into the predrilled hole. Finally I unscrewed all the others most of the way, at which point the last one went in easily and then I tightened everything up.I have hard-surface floors, so I appreciate the included felt pads. They were easy to attach and after a couple of weeks of use they show no signs of coming off.
