Mason Pearson Detangler Comb, 0.1 lb.

I never thought I'd spend $45 on a comb, but the Mason Pearson comb is worth every penny. After I purchased my first one, I turned right around and purchased a second one. I have a very sensitive scalp, and this comb glides over my scalp so gently and smoothly. It combs through my wet and dry hair like a dream! My hair is soft and shiny. I absolutely love the Mason Pearson comb, and will recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you so much for carrying it.

This is a nice comb. I have been using it daily for over 2.5 years at this point, and I'm sure it will last for at least several more. After 2.5 years, the only damage is minor surface scratches to the plastic due to normal wear and tear - no teeth are chipped or bent despite being dropped several times. The edges are smooth, and I like how the teeth are not quite as wide as those on a typical detangling comb. I have long, straight, medium-thick hair and have no problems detangling with this comb. As other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't catch and break hair. The only downside is that it is quite expensive for a comb, but it's durability makes up for the cost.

I was hesitant to purchase this comb because of the price. My penchant for luxury and my curiosity ultimately prevailed and I'm glad to say that this comb is worth every penny. First, it's strong and won't bend under duress. It's extremely well made and smooth all over so there's no possibility of snagging. I was a bit surprised to find that the comb is plastic (or at least it appears to be plastic). I'm not sure what I was expecting and I still can't quite figure out how a plastic product can be "handmade" but make no mistake, it's a lovely piece and a great addition to my hair regimen. I use it immediately after my shower (to dentangle) but it's also a great finishing comb. In fact, I'm purchasing another one today to carry in my purse. It's the perfect size for home or travel. I don't think you can go wrong no matter what type of hair you have. Enjoy!

I have long, and a curly hair (not tight curls unless I scrunch and diffuse but curlier than waves). It used to be super manageable, but for the last two years it has gotten unrulier, more and more tangled and less silky. I swim a lot, which means constantly having to get tangles out. I've tried spray in detangler, leave in conditioner, Bumble and Bumble hairdresser's oil products, Morrocan Oil, the Wet Brush, other dentangling brushes and combs. I like some of those products, but I still dreaded the long periods of time it would take to brush out my hair. I finally caved and bought the Mason Pearson Detangling Comb and MP Detangling Brush. I LOVE both of them. The comb is great on wet or dry hair, and definitely helped detangle - it did exactly what it says it will do. While I still see a few strands of hair come out into my brush it is hardly ANY - a few strands, compared to the tons of damage and hair with my Wet Brush (which was better than yet more brushes I've tried), AND it's faster to brush AND it's not painful. I recommend both!!

I’ve owned this comb for about 20 years and just bought another for my travel bag. It’s the smoothest and most gentle comb for my long, curly, fine hair. The new comb is just as beautiful and high quality as the one I bought 20 years ago! The fact that I spend this much on a comb speaks volumes. I absolutely love it and nothing compares!

I've been using this comb on a daily basis for two years and loved it until it finally broke :( I am debating buying a replacement because the price has gone up a bit. I started sleeping with a bit of hairspray in my curls and brush it out in the morning. Guess the comb couldn't handle it.

This is the very best comb that you can get. I am a comb connoisseur of epic proportions. Yes, this comb idoes the basic comb functions but what I really love is its ability to make amazing “parts” in my hair - which dries curly but is straight when wet. My hair really has to have a “part” or the top part of my head will look indecisive and lacking in any clear style what so ever. I love this comb so much that I don’t mind the price and I was beyond thrilled I could find it on Amazon.

I love the balance and sturdiness of this comb. And I love how it is gentle on my scalp. It is pretty pricey for a comb but I enjoy using it so much that I am happy that I bought it.

je prends énormément soin de mes cheveux. masques, shampoing de qualité , brosse mason pearson et ce peigne est absolument parfait car les bouts sont arrondis : indispensable afin de ne pas agresser le cuir chevelu ,l'écartement des dents est juste ce qu'il faut et il est très solide. je l'utilise sur cheveux mouillés/lavés pour les déméler car il est déconseillé de BROSSER des cheveux mouillés. j'en avais déjà un depuis de nombreuses années mais ma fille (ado) l'a oublié à la piscine. dans l'urgence j'en avais acheté un quelconque mais quelle erreur!!! il m'irritait le cuir chevelu et me cassait les cheveux. donc je n'ai pas hésité longtemps à me le racheter. pour moi il n'y en a pas de meilleur

I first started using Mason Pearson brushes as a child of ten, with long, curly hair, and as a woman of 72 am still using this excellent product with great satisfaction. it's worth the extra cost for it's quality and longevity I have now purchased a brush and comb for my little granddaughter, 18 months old, with fine, long hair. Brushing out the tangles no longer hurts!

Absolutely better than the drug store alternatives. The teeth keep their shape better and don’t tend to bend. The plastic is strong and glides through the thickest of hair. It’s just plastic but it is truly much better than the other alternatives.

Me encanta este peine que se nota que está fabricado con un material de gran calidad. Me gusta especialmente que pesa algo más que un peine de plástico o de madera cualquiera. Eso le hace atravesar el pelo deshaciendo lo enredado con facilidad, mientras deja el pelo liso, suave y suelto. Ya no quiero utilizar ningun otro peine.
