I originally bought this Orbit pattern sprinkler many years ago from a brick-and-mortor store. I like the spray patterns that it offers, as I have a small yard and some tight and/or oddly shaped spaces to water. The only drawback is that it sprays back toward the hose connection, rather than away, so it's easy to spray yourself in the face. But, once you get used to that and remember which way to point the sprinkler, it's not an issue. Over the years, I tried several other pattern sprinklers (other brands), all more expensive, some in pretty colors, and they only lasted about a year each and didn't provide the same spray patterns as the Orbit model. After many years, the Orbit finally failed (think the rubber seal gave out). Amazon is the only place I could find what appears to be the same sprinkler. So far, it seems to be the same make as the old one and is working well.

Do NOT purchase this unless you only want 50% of the water delivered from hose to exit onto area in need of WATER ! Terrible design at inlet on sprinkler which restricts 50% of water flow - cannot be modified to increase water flow . Wasted $12 as AMAZON refuses return . Ordered Dramm sprinkler , similar design with no water design restriction - watering time cut in half & larger area coverage , both due to no H2O restriction !

This is an OK sprinkler but you cannot turn it on any setting at the sprinkler without getting soaked. I guess they assume you turn the water on at the faucet not at the sprinkler.

A bit flimsy, but does work well for smaller landscapes. WMultiple settings and I do like that it has a handle for moving about. I don't like the 360 option (for watering in a circular pattern). It simply doesn't cover enough area (approximately 6-8 square feet). It ends up flooding the area as if you just turned on the hose and laid it on the ground. Otherwise, ok.

So, my front yard Orbit sprinkler bit the dust. They last really great, but, nothing lasts fovever. As I was looking for a new one, I notices this striking design. Hey, why no go for a cool look??? Then I noticed several reviewers complained about the "backward" spray. Huh?? As soon as I read it, I realized this is exactly what I need for many sections of my yard. With the typical design, I have to work to get the hose and sprinkler lined up as close to the fence and or sidewalk in order to get the best spray. Well, the genius with this design is the water sprays towards the hose (talking about partial spray pattern here. So, when I water next to the sidewalk, I don't have to have the hose crossing the sidewalk, or harder yet, battling to get the sprinkler close to the fence when watering my trees with roots near the fence. I'm only on day one, but I know I like this feature, and the unit feels like it will last as well as my other similarly priced sprinklers (a few years). But, it does rotate smoother, so maybe it will last even longer!
