Marley and the Great Easter Egg Hunt: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids Hardcover – Illustrated, January 22, 2013

My six year old granddaughter is a huge fan of Marley! She loves to get a new Marley book! We have all of them.In this book, Marley continues with his delightfully crazy antics centered on an Easter theme. I especially like that each Marley book has the same family characters which brings a sense of "I know Marley's family" to the reader and what is he up to now! Young children will love Marley and the beginning reader will be able to successfully read ... and enjoy this story.If you have not introduced a child to Marley.....get started!

A little boy I worked love dogs. We were working on improving his language. I bagan to buy Marley books. The colors and illustrations are wonderful. The story itself is sweet.

This is a cute book with a fun story. It is very typical of John Grogan's children's books in that it consistently uses improper grammar and punctuation, but my children love this book and continuously request it. I just correct it as I'm reading it so they're not constantly hearing poor grammar.

We love all the Marley books.

Some of the Marley books are hit or miss. This one is a hit. Great story, good quality hardcover book (no slipcover so pretty durable). Very colorful. My kids love the Marley collection and this is one I don't mind reading to them.

read the Marley books weekly to a group of preschool children. they love Marley because he is naughty, but the family loves him anyway, just like they learning, we are sinful but GOD still loves us.

In answer to the question at the beginning of this review, I AM over 13, but admit to enjoy reading the Marley children's books that I buy for cousins' children. They're all great entertainment for young children - and Marley, despite being mischievous, is a very sweet, enthusiastic dog. The books are well illustrated too!

I am not a big fan of the book but my son seems to love it and it has very colorful illustrations. Honestly, the story is very weak but sometimes my son enjoys books that are just silly. The dog, Marley makes a big mess of things and still ends up being the winner in the end.

Good to read to small groups of children
