It Works!
The product works and looks as described. It looks really nice below the Yamaha tach/meter. The COG and my compass seem to agree nicely. Be aware the GPS receiver has to see the sky (as described), so you will have to drill a 1/4" hole for the connector to fit through the console or whatever. The speedometer is responsive, its great to see trolling speeds. The accuracy seems to jive with the chart plotter but then they're both using GPS. My Yamaha pitot speedometer never seemed to work, hell it wouldn't even register below 15MPH.I tried using the switched red + lead from the Yamaha key switch. It worked when I switched to on but after ignition it did not work. Probably my ignorance here. I wired to my fuse block so the battery switch turns it on or off.I have used this speedo for ~10 hours. So far I strongly recommend this product.

Works
I installed this in my boat to replace old pickup tube speedometer. We pull skiers, tubers, and hydrofoilers from 15 to 25 mph. I was looking for something that is more accurate than the old speedometer, and more reactive than a GPS.I compared accuracy with my Garmin GPS, and they both aligned on speed.A couple of notes:1. First power up takes 30 to 120 seconds to acquire signal2. Second power up takes only 10 to 20 seconds to acquire signal3. Reaction is a little sluggish but good enough for my purposes4. Some times speed drop will lag behind by about 0.5 to 1 secs

Works just fine
You will need some electrical knowledge to know how to get it power. The instructions arent great. I installed on a rzr170 so i could tell my kids the speed limit i wanted them. I wired them to the headlights.

Constantly needs restarted
Wired it up on my golf cart. As instructed ran a test run checked with gps on phone. Was accurate turned around and started heading back and it quit working. Unplugged unit plugged back in and still wouldn’t work restarted again. Worked for about a 1/4 mile then quit again. Tried re wiring to make sure not operator error still no luck. Can’t return out of Amazon window.

A good alternative when other options are hundreds of dollars. The system works well and I like the red backlight. Depending on how ready to start your engine is sometimes when you cycle the key 🔑 to crank the engine it messes up and goes offline.

Works well, simple and easy to install
Works great, accurate and pretty quick to respond. My wish is the direction had N W S directions in addition to the degrees.

Fairly easy to install and works great.
I took this speedo on a ride in my truck before installing it in my boat. There was a little lag in the reporting at first but the speed was spot on. I've been using this in my boat for a couple of months now and it has worked flawlessly.

Speed reads the same as my finder, initiates within 10 seconds
The wiring instructions could be better translated. However it was pretty easy to install. Works really great, takes about 10 seconds to find the satellites and start working. Reads the same speed as my Hummingbird

Place the antenna as recommended in instruction for good reception.
I instslled the gauge on my boat. Works as designed.Easy to install.Came on time, well packaged.
