You will need the crossbody strap for carrying on your shoulder. The good news is that the hooks actually hook into the purse straight across from each other rather than at an angle. i am very happy with my carmel colored purse, especially the little wristlet. People think that its a Brahmin!!

Q: Can this work as a diaper bag?

It is very big. I would use it as a diaper bag but the inside is cloth so you would have to be sure anything that could get it wet would be in plastic.
