Very compact and easy battery install while in position on gun. Light is very bright and strobe is excellent. Can't measure if its 500 lumens but I assure you it's VERY bright. Lights up any size dark room. Beam is not tightly focused but does the job for more confined areas. Perfect for home defense gun. Would have given it five stars BUT it will not lock onto the rail on my Glock 19. It does lock on to M & P. When it does lock on, it has a little movement. Not enough to negatively effect it's use but I'd like to see firmer lock up. Can't talk about battery life or durability yet but my initial reaction is that I will trust it to put on my home defense pistol.
