I already have the smaller version of this and that is the reason I purchased this larger one. It is twice the brightness and runs on only two batteries, seems to last a long time especially taking in account that It's only two. there is a flip down lever which allows you tostand it on a flat surface, handy. Only thing, for a female hand it maybe a bit bulky. covered in a rubberish coating so takes theknocks. you can attach a lanyard at the end of the handle. Good beam, not to wide, excellent in total darkness. weather proof in the bargain. Good product.

Bought this for my 87 year old Mum who has impaired vision. She was caught in a power cut at night and had to feel her way downstairs on a stair lift, so asked me to get her a good one. As it was possible she might knock it off her bedside table, I went for a tough one that looked as if it could withstand the odd bump! She is very pleased with it and if necessary could use it for putting the bins out in the rain. Ideal for hiding in the shed for emergencies and the hole in the handle would be ideal for hanging it up. A good, bright light and worthwhile purchase.

Robust torch with good on/off switch. Very bright beam with a reasonably wide angle. Second torch purchased because first was nicked by the family. Hadn't changed the batteries in the first torch for over a year.

This is a very big rubberised torch, when I ordered it I wanted a like-for-like replacement for the smaller version of this Energizer make - the product description doesn't say this is it's bigger brother.Nonetheless it's very bright and sturdily made.

Lovely little torch. Rubberised so no problem if dropped or out in the rain. Not the most powerful but adequate if say walking the dog, and takes useful AA batteries not those fiddly AAA. Fits snugly in the hand too, recommend to anyone.
