Bought this so that I could create a prototype of my dad's board game and gifted it to him for Christmas. Made the finish a lot more professional than it would have been if I'd tried to make it from scratch. Finished it with a couple of things coats of a matt crafting varnish and it's created a professional, wipeable finish

This blank board game is great. The materials and components are of good quality. My eight year old really enjoyed making his own pokemon board game with this. It’s a great way for your children to get creative and imaginative - and better yet, all of the family can get involved. Great fun.

Brilliant. Certain pens can smudge and not seem to dry, as a left handed person this was a struggle I was used to. I tried different pens and found ones that worked for me and the materials on the board. Really good fun and all the pieces were there and of high quality.

Good set with alot inside but they're very shiny so it has been hard to make stuff on it as alot dont sit right and most pens I had didn't work except a ballpoint pen whoch was annoying but woth proper priming it can be done

Had a great time making my own game. One thing to note the card is durable but that means it is also resistant to some inks. Easy to smudge

This is a really versatile set, with everything you need to create a game. It is compact and easy to carry. The board is a good size, and feels sturdy, though the folds feel like they could tear with a strong pull or excessive bending. The box is great - sturdy and smooth. The set comes with game pieces, a spinner, cards, two normal dice and some blank ones, and the board. I've used my set to make a TTRPG, though i haven't used the included dice and pieces. The board warped slightly after a few coats of masonry paint, but i piled heavy stuff on top and it is now fine.

This was a great set! I used it to create my own monopoly which turned out better than I had hoped it would! Everything was sized great and the quality was pretty good. This definitely kept me busy during our lockdown here in Guernsey and I would highly recommend this set to anyone (not just children!) who want to get a bit creative. :))

Het concept en de onderdelen zijn leuk en variabel voor spelcreatie. De ondergrond van het spelbord, doos, kaarten etc zijn moeilijk te bewerken, verf hecht niet goed, potlood is onbruikbaar(net zoals wasco e.d.). Het was zeer onaangenaam om te proberen hier iets kleurijks van te maken.

I saw an add in my Pinterest feed for something like this because I’ve been brainstorming DYI board games and was so excited this existed I immediately came here and bought this. I haven’t finished my board game yet, but this is perfect for what I wanted to make! My tip for coloring is use POSCA markers. Because the game and accessories have a gloss finishing, I’m not surprised other mediums didn’t work well for other reviewers. I experimented POSCA markers on the cards and the blank dice and it worked perfectly. I did seal the dice with modge podge though because it did scrape off when I was testing it. I was considering self adhesive vinyl too if my POSCA markers didn’t work so that’s another workable option too that would turn out great.

This “create your own board game” kit was so much fun! I used paint pens and a clear coat to customize it. Love that it includes cards, dice, and a spinner — plenty of options to make a unique game.
