🔌 Power Up Your Pi: The Future of Connectivity Awaits!
The LoveRPi Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) HAT Kit is designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, providing a reliable and efficient power solution that eliminates the need for multiple power adapters. With the ability to power multiple boards through a single PoE switch, this kit includes an anodized heatsink and cooling fan to ensure optimal performance, making it the perfect choice for on-premise cloud setups.

Dead simple to install and works perfectly
Had a different third-party POE HAT on my 3B+ (used for Pi-hole) for the past couple years. It worked fine, but I couldn't find a case that it would fit in so I had to leave it exposed. Came across this while looking for something else and figured I'd give it a try for $20. Works absolutely perfectly and it couldn't have been easier to install. Removed the old HAT, installed the new one, put this in the case, connected the fan, plugged it into the switch and it simply worked as expected. Only minor criticism is that it didn't come with any paperwork or instructions. It was obvious to me how to put it together, but someone who really had no idea what s/he was doing might struggle, at least with where to plug in the fan. Not nearly enough to knock a star off for. Almost certainly going to order another for my other 3B+ (it has the same HAT -- I'm in the process of repurposing it from Hassio to RetroPie). Great kit -- highly recommended!UPDATE 8/23/2022: Exactly two years since my original review, everything is still working perfectly. I bought another as I said I might and am still really happy with the kit. Zero issues with 2+ years of continuous uptime aside from reboots after updates.

It just worked!
Small and compact. Plug and Play. Worked as expected. No issues after several months of runtime on POE. I'm powering it off of a Unifi-16port-150W POE switch. I'm using a modified Viaboot Premium case. I simply carved out all the inner plastic pieces and my 3B+ and this POE hat fit with no issues. As some others have stated, the power LED is unnecessarily bright. Even with a case on this Pi setup, the light was so bright green it was forcing the green light out of every possible crack in the case. I have the LED covered with a piece of black electrical tape inside the case and it helps.

Works great, will update
Works great. Super easy installation. Gently pushed the PoE hat onto the main Pi board, applied the heat sink, plugged in the fan wires, as I was off to the races. Pi boots as soon as Ethernet is connected to PoE switch. If using a smart PoE switch, Raspberry Pies can be remotely rebooted by power cycling the power to their switch port.I really like the form factor of this PoE hat, as it doesn't add much height to the Pi and doesn't require additional wiring. Rock solid so far, I'll update when I get more stick time.

Really nice PoE solution for Raspberry Pi devices supporting PoE
I bought one of these to try out and it worked nicely. It attaches to the PoE connector and pins 1-6 of the GPIO connector. it does break out the 3V, 5V and GND pins on the top of the PoE daughter board though. The board fits snuggly and doesn't exceed the height of the other components on the board so pretty much any case should work with this in place. Nice quality board. You will probably want to use this along with an opaque case as the LED is quite bright.

Pricey but ultimately worth it
Bought 4 of these for my raspberry pi kubernetes cluster. They work geat, great build quality and worked with no config with my poe managed switch. Even has pins for cooling fans. Worth noting that if you have a gpu on the ethernet chip, you will have to remove it as this board covers it. A fan helps keep things cool

Good, but breaks pi functionality.
Device works to provide PoE but connecting an HDMI cable causes a short. So I am unable to use an external HDMI monitor with this hat. Boo.

Works great, ignore complaints about the LED brightness
This POE hat worked great for me and the price is right. I just ordered 3 more for my project. I don't understand the complaints about the LED brightness. In a dark room, I find the red LED on the Pi to be brighter than the green one on the POE hat. Maybe they changed the LED recently or maybe I'm just not as light sensitive as others.

Works great but....
Works great but the LED's could guide in aircraft! I would have given it five stars if not for the extremely bright LED. in the attached picture you can see the lights from a nighthawk router and POE switch for comparison.
