Even though these Starbucks by Nespresso Blonde Roast Espresso Pods are made for Nespresso Original machines, I’ve been using them with my Ninja Barista and they’ve been flawless. The flavor profile is exactly what you expect from Starbucks Blonde — smooth, lightly roasted, and just the right amount of sweetness without bitterness. It’s the kind of espresso that doesn’t overpower milk-based drinks but still holds its character in an iced latte or macchiato. The extraction is clean, the crema comes out golden, and the aroma fills the room like a café. It’s not as punchy as a dark roast, but that’s the charm — it’s mellow, approachable, and versatile. I’ve tried other pods for the Ninja setup, and these consistently taste fresher and smoother. Very light flavor, especially good with a little bit of white chocolate syrup. Not exactly the flavor I was looking for but not bad to drink on its own. If you’re looking for a Starbucks white chocolate mocha dupe, this is not the coffee. I had better luck with the grey pods

I absolutely adore these coffee pods! The quality is exceptional, and the value you receive when purchasing the bulk size is simply unmatched (try to get the deal with subscribe and save too). What stands out to me most is the minimal bitterness in this particular blend. I've enjoyed it in various ways – from a quick espresso shot to a more relaxed lungo cup. I've even experimented with making a delicious coratodo and, my personal favorite, recreating the Starbucks Shaken Espresso at home, and it always turns out fantastic! Another great thing is that they fit perfectly in my Ninja Coffee Barista System, making my morning coffee routine incredibly smooth and convenient.

I seriously love these sooooo much. I worked at starbucks for a few years until recently, so I really miss my free partner beverages or even just the discount. Thank goodness I took my barista skills with me though. ;) I honestly don't care for most of the Nespresso brand pods I have tried, I also just hate paying for them too, probably because I just don't like the taste.. though these are the same price IT IS SO WORTH IT! IT'S SO DELICIOUS. I am seriously obsessed with these! Not to mention, I save money now that I don't spend $5 at Starbucks per day.. the price for 50 pods is equivalent to 6-7 drinks at starbucks. Depending how many shots of espresso you use per drink, this could be like 25-50 drinks!! I just have so many great things to say. Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend these! If anyone even really read this or cares enough to about how I make just a few of my drinks here it is: Iced Caramel Macchiato: I buy the starbucks macchiato creamer, the Ghirardelli caramel sauce (not as amazing as the starbucks caramel sauce but still delicious), milk or almond milk (I switch back and forth), and obviously these pods! I put some of the caramel sauce in at the bottom of the cup to make it sweet, add 2 shots of espresso to that and mix it so it melts the sauce, then just a small amount of the creamer, the rest with regular milk, and add the ice! ****I will put drizzle on top sometimes or even use a little skim milk & froth it with a hand held milk frother for cold foam, maybe a little salt with the foam for a little salted caramel vibe! Iced Mocha I use the Hershey's chocolate syrup, milk, espresso, and ice. I only put a little chocolate & add 2 shots of espresso to mix it, then add the milk and ice. I will taste it before the ice usually to see if I want more chocolate. Iced white mocha/ caramel white mocha: I used the starbucks white mocha creamer, milk, Ghirardelli caramel sauce, espresso, and ice. I usually just put a little white mocha creamer in the cup and add 2 shots of espresso/ I will put the caramel sauce at the bottom first, then espresso, then creamer IF I want the caramel white mocha. Then of course just the milk and ice. Also.. just super simple and not as sweet. I really like to drink a hot or iced latte with a little of the silk brand vanilla almond milk creamer & espresso. Of course this isn't super fancy or anything but it is very delicious! Hopefully someone actually reads my long book here and tries one of these ~copycat starbucks drinks~ I made up and loves it as much as I do. :)

Update: I love the coffee and this is by far the cheapest place to get them. I am changing my rating from 2 stars for poor shipping to 5 stars for the actual pods. I contemplated how to force Amazon to ship it better and came up with a plan - buy more than will fit in a mailer to make them use a box and make sure you don't order anything heavy that they can put in the box with them. To be safe, I didn't order anything else that week to make sure my pods came alone. It worked! For the first time in 3 shipments we did not have a single crushed pod and now we have enough pods to last a few months. We ordered 3 of the 50 packs (total of 150 pods) and that was perfect. Dates were all good and none expire in less than 10 months. Update: we gave them a second chance and another set of pods came crushed (even worse than the first ones). I don’t understand why they can’t figure out how to put these in sleeves that don’t crush or ship them in a hard side package. We will no longer be buying them from Amazon because I’m tired of throwing away pods. The last pic with the completely crushed pod in the center was our newest batch. That one will have to be thrown away and some of the other ones are questionable as to whether they will work. Takes away from the cost-effectiveness of buying them through Amazon if you have to throw away almost a whole sleeve. very disappointed. This is our third or fourth order of these pods and we’ve had a few that were slightly damaged but usable. This is the first sleeve out of this new box and seven out of 10 pods are essentially unusable. If you’re not familiar with an nespresso machine - the pods have a rubber seal that goes around the edge to make a seal and then water is forced through the pod and if the rims cannot connect with that seal you lose a lot of the coffee into the collection chamber in the bottom instead of going into your cup. They essentially don’t work when they look like this. There’s a no refund and no return policy so I will be contacting Amazon independently to see what they will do about this because it’s completely unacceptable.

Overall, I think this is a great value. It fits our Nespresso original machine perfectly. It comes out not too bitter and is incredibly mild with a decent crema. I do not think it has a lot of caffeine since I need a few to keep me awake. I would recommend this for someone who wants something more mild.
