Does the job

Have used this on my home made duck pond filter system and these stand up to the work very well. ( and ducks are a lot more dirty than fish) definitely recommend them. I have bought another pack and will continue with this brand. I tried a cheaper option to my error the ducks were not impressed they like their pond with clear water.

The layers replaced some in my filter box. I would have liked a finer mesh, but since the layers have been in there, they appear to be working fine. Cleaning for the first time was easy. Regrettably any layers I have ever brought and used have a relative short life., before they begin to split. However these do the job so fine by me.

Arrived quickly, good product. Have had before a few years ago. I clean reqular with pressure washer, so they last a few years.

I have a Blagdon Minipond 12000 filter and marking up and cutting in half they fit snuggly. Felt pen works on the white and blue sheets but paint on a cocktail stick works on the black one as in the picture.They should last for years with regular cleaning using the jet setting on a hose.

Used in my fluval fx4 filter on my 110 gallon tank, very easy to cut to size, will likely use on my aquaclear filters as well in the future
