Universal Soudbar Mount

I really wanted this to work because TV manufacturers seem to find no value for the customer in providing quality audio with their purchase and I wanted my soundbar to pivot with my TV. This was installed on a kitchen/dining room TV on a elbow mount on a Vizio 32" D-series TV from Sam's with a Bose Solo 5 from Walmart. The speaker is light enough I was able to install the arms without having to take everything down and did not need the provided smaller arms for various angles as well. First, I installed the long arms with the concave channel facing the speaker with a plastic washer (yellow circles on the bottom of the 2nd picture) on the inside and a metal washer on the outside using the square hole at one end of the arm. I then removed the top left TV mounting plate screw from the TV. Using a small plastic washer on the inside of the arm and the larger diameter washer between the screw head and the arm (yellow and red circles on the top of the 2nd picture), I loosely attached the left arm to the TV. I then did the same thing on the right hand side. Then, I centered the speaker on the TV and tightened all 4 screws. It could possibly slide over time, but there is a way to install directly to extra holes in the mounting plate where I could utilize a lock washer to prevent that. If that happens, I may have to do that. There is a lot of flexibility with the mounting pattern so I see this being useful in many situations. It took no more than 20 minutes to install and works perfectly for me.

There were the cheapest mounts I could find, which was great, as they are literally just 2 mostly-flat pieces of metal shaped like a boomerang. Should not cost more than $10. My one and only gripe is that the hardware assortment included wasn't thought out well enough. You get about 5 different bolt sizes, all different lengths and a few different diameters, but only 2 nuts, which are useless on all but 1 diameter bolt. Fortunately it was easy enough to use a drill bit to widen the keyhole mounts on the sound bar just enough to allow the bolt to be inserted and tightened down. Literally the only flaw. I bought 2 pairs for 2 TVs and sound bars. Will mount the second one this Sunday when the bar arrives. Easy install... 8/30/20 Update: just installed on bedroom tv today. Even easier install, tv has been mounted since Sept 2018. This tv had 2 open mounting holes so I used them and just loosened and removed the lower tv mount screws to get the sound bar mounts between it and tv then reinstalled them. The sound bar mounting key slots had same issue, this time just wedged the bolts in with a small screwdriver. 5min install.

Did what I expected them to do however they did have a slight curve to them which leant to what I mounted being on a slight angle. The quality is just okay and it was pretty compatible with my 50 inch LG tv. The installation was easy enough and the length and size was great. It also looks decently low profile. (Ignore the contraption I made with these, they are meant for a soundbar but I improvised for my Xbox.)

Exactly what I need to hang sound bar below TV.

I just finished assembling a portable TV set up, including a sound bar with subwoofer. I mounted the soundbar above the TV with this WALI mounting bracket. Incorporating the WALI bracket with the TV bracket was simple. it just fits between the TV and the TV bracket. They include several options to attach the sound bar. My sound bar has 'keyhole' slots for hanging. The screws included for that don't fit the slots very well and don't tighten up enough to be very secure. It's on there. But, I'm questioning if it's stable enough to tolerate being bumped over thresholds while moving from room to room, without falling off. Because I have a 40" TV, soundbar and subwoofer mounted on this TV stand, I will be very careful moving it anyway. The stability of the soundbar mounting just adds an extra concern. So, I'm not TOTALLY satisfied with this product. Three stars.

Bought a new sounder and wanted to avoid moving the tv mount up and make all those holes on the wall, Found this item. It comes with adequate screws and washers that should be enough for most installation situations. Took me less than half an hour to install it and put the tv back up. Pros: 1) Cost effective solution to sounder mounting issues 2) Works well and easy to install 3) Multiple configurations are possible making it versatile 4) Comes with screws, washers, spacers 5) Great packaging Cons/Nice to Have's: 1) Instructions could be better. I was challenged with the grooves on one side and couldn't tell immediately which side will face the tv. 2) Aligning can be tricky if using only one hole on the tv but nothing that cannot be figured out Overall greatly recommend for anyone looking for a mount for a soundbar

This sound bar mount is streamline, lightweight and easily installed! I have a 43” Samsung TV mounted close to the ceiling above my bifold closet doors! I do have to rock the set back and forth to open the closet but it’s not a big deal! The TV mount that I used is also a WALI coincidentally (See Photos) purchased years earlier! I needed a small soundbar to hang underneath the TV that wasn’t too big and bulky because the TV sound was so horrific I couldn’t watch it because the sound hurt my ears! After much research I found Samsung’s Ultra Slim Soundbar and it made the set enjoyable to watch! The WALI mount didn’t add much weight…I simply attached it underneath the bottom of the VESA mount using the existing bolts! I did have to buy additional hardware to mount the soundbar because it’s so slim and I wanted it flush with the front of the TV. Although the mount comes with a ton of hardware and spacers it didn’t fit my application. So $6.00 at the hardware store for longer screws, spacers and washers and it’s perfect!! Overall it’s a very clean install…I did it by myself on a ladder without taking down the set and I’m a senior female if that means anything! I hope all the photos help as I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this so I’m hoping to give back!
