Fun! Careful with small wheel parts!
Fun Build! Took about 5 Hours while watching youtube documentaries on my day off. Love Model Kits! This one has a lot of tiny pieces that are easy to lose, i recommend using a small dish to prevent frustration I went black/red thought it would look cool. I also used the actual mold holdings to make the Tank look more like a "Resistance" faction! My next one will either be a big boat or jet!

Well made--like all Monogram models
I used this model to create an appreciation and award display for a good friend on the occasion of his receiving the Medal of Honor. He was an M48 tank crewman in Vietnam with the 3/5 Cav and showed exemplary heroism for his actions at Tan Son Nhut airbase at Saigon during the Tet 'battle on January 31st, 1968. His name is Dwight Birdwell.

Pretty much okay..
It's a deal for your money. I mean its not even close being good but as a platform for improvement, its a good buy. There's a few flashing to be cleaned and the fit is not to a tee but for the price it's acceptable. I have built this and weathered using a variety of pigment and washes. Overall its okay!

My son bought this with his own money!
My son bought this with his own money! I can tell you that he was overjoyed when he got this in the mail and opened the package. The size he picked out was 1:35 scale. It was huge to what he's been used to. I've bought him tank models that were way smaller, just a fraction of the size of this one. He got to work right away putting the tank together and never asked for help. He just figured everything on his own. There was one point where he accidentally glued something the wrong way and thought he ruined it, but took a deep breath and figured out how to fix it and move on. He finished that same day. Now he just put more details on it little by little in between playing with it. He tells me details about the history of the tank and I feel like I'm getting schooled, lol. He got to practice on his fine motor skills, reading, and logic (problem solving). This momma just sits back and smiles because of the educational value this model has brought to him. He doesn't see it that way, he just enjoys putting models together and that's ok with me!

Poor quality control
bad plastic molding made the hull near impossible to put together,so many parts warped and wouldnt stay together as it should based on the instructions. The tracks were also so tight that they snapped the drive wheels pole If i had known this was a ***1966*** model kit i would not have bought it... Really should have that in bold letters in the title But if you're looking for a quicky build i guess its alright but im not going to say its worth wasting paint on, saving the neat decals. I knew i shouldnt have cheated on tamiya though

Great model for beginners
This model is the perfect one for beginners. Although this is an older model, it is still a lot of fun to put together and paint.

M-47 Patton (MONOGRAM 1:35)
