Great protection !
This lightweight jacket solves my mosquito problem while working in my garden. Love how the sleeves have a drawstring at the wrist ! I feel very protected in this jacket.

Good coverage in the garden
Very good coverage in the garden. However, the netting is hot! That is not a complaint as I would rather be warm than bitten!

Full coverage
I got this to do things outside without getting bit. I'm in Louisiana and have crazy mosquitos in my yard. Think it'll do the job.

Skeeter Syndrome lifesaver
Looks insane. Does the job! Was so helpful keeping bugs off me in Acadia. Essential for those of us with Skeeter Syndrome.

Just tried it out, and came back with multiple mosquito bites on my legs.
Mosquitos can and will bite you right through the fabric. They don't get into the suit they just land on the fabric and they wait until the fabric moves close to your skin. Because of the sizing (its VERY oversized - I'm 5'4" 130 lbs so ordered the small / median but I was swimming in it) you end up with a lot of fabric floating around you which does keep the mosquitoes off - but ANY area where the fabric touches down on your skin, they will take the opportunity to bite. If you sit, game over they'll surely get you. I did like that the hood kept the mosquitos off my face and I think ticks will cling to and collect on the material but not get on me directly so that's a plus. I'll use it for mowing the lawn and quick trips to out to the garden but I won't count on it for preventing mosquitos from biting me. I may douse the fabric in a natural bug spray to see if that helps any, diet would probably ruin the fabric as it is synthetic. The fabric caught easily on a wood door with a rough edge so be careful as it is delicate, would not use while doing anything labor intensive and don't walk by any plants with thorns or it will surely tear.

Your Last Line of Defense in the Swamp of Doom!
So, you’re diving into a swampland that’s practically a mosquito buffet? Grab the Tough Outdoors Mosquito Pants! These babies boast net bug mesh, giving you solid protection against those pesky insects while they buzz around like they’re auditioning for a horror movie. Sure, they won’t give you a perfect shield, but they definitely help keep the mosquitoes at bay. These pants let you leap over swampy pits or duck under branches, and while you might feel like a gazelle, let’s be honest: agility only gets you so far when the bugs are plotting your demise. You might end up looking stylish, but you’re still a well-dressed target. And the durability? They’ll hold up against mud and water, but don’t expect them to save you from crocodiles or any lurking swamp monsters. You might look slightly less like a mud monster, but that won’t stop the real threats out there. If you’re considering these pants for a mosquito-infested adventure, know that they do provide some useful protection—not a 10 out of 10, but definitely helpful for keeping those bugs at bay. Five stars for making you look good while swatting away mosquitoes and navigating a wild environment—but don’t count on them to fend off everything lurking in the swamp!

Not bad
I wish the elastic arm and waistbands were better. This bug jacket is not so much elastic as it is mediocre tightening on the most vulnerable areas. I can’t seem to tighten it enough to perform ideally. Mosquitoes easily get into my waistline and through my wrists.Something to note about bug jackets; no matter what, they’re only effective in areas that don’t touch skin. Lots of reviews mention it as ineffective for that reason. As an entomologist, I can honestly say no bug jacket is foolproof. Bugs WILL bite you wherever the mesh presses to your body. For me, the main problem areas are shoulders, upper back, and top of the head if my hat isn’t thick enough. As such, my primary concern is the elastic. It’s far from the best bug net I’ve had, but not so offensively bad that I felt the need to return it. Just alright.
