Worth every penny
I bought these for listening to music after my old regular earphones broke, and I must say, these are probably the best headphones I have ever bought. I was switching from a great, very comfortable in your ear kind of earphones, and after they broke I wanted some that had an ear clip to stay in my ear better (and look way cool!). After a few weeks of searching for a good pair that were great and inexpencive, and finally decided on these, $9 is really cheep for a good pair, and every penny was worth it. I recomend them to everyone. (I'm actually listing to my mp3 player with the headphones as I'm typing this) Pros: - great fit After I bought these, I had major troble with the headphones for about two weeks. They wouldn't stay on my ears, the bud was rubbing against the inside of my ear constantly and giving me a great deal of uncomfortable pain. So I left them alone for about a week, and thought about it some, then went back and played around with the ajustment (I use my on the smallest setting) and eventually figured out that I was putting them in my ears wrong. I figured out how to do it right and they were very comfortable. They're very light and once you put them on you forget they're actually there. The ear clip goes nicely on my ear and does its job great, I have not had any problems with it, the earclip is very flexible, and so is the adjustment. The bud seems a little big but it fits nicely in my ear. The headohones don't come off if you yank the cord (they will eventually if you keep yanking it though) - pretty good sound It's not as good as you would get from a great pair of over-the-head kind of headphones, (that was expected) but they are very good for just being headphones. I have owned a pair of earphones that had better sound. Of all the headphones and earphones I've ever owned, the sound is number 2 on my list, which is pretty good considering I've owned about 8 pairs, and these are by far the cheapest good sound you'll ever get. It's a little tinny sometimes, but that might be my player, because it sounds great when I have them plugged into my IMac or Windows PC. One con though, sometimes (not always) the noise will sound funny after about a few minutes if you just have one headphone in, so make sure you have both in for optimum sound! Also, forgot to add, but the bass is great, if you have a song playing with some more dramatic noises, you can sometimes feel it vibrating (pro!) - adjustment Its good, I was excpecting one that didn't work so good, but this one is pretty great. Not much to say about it, but I am pretty sure it was made for bigger ears, My ears are kinda adverage I guess, and I have then on the lowest adjustmet. The clip is extremely easy to adjust which is great too. - cord The cord is nice, not short at all, I'd say it's about 2.5 feet long maybe, not sure, but I have had no problems with it at all. you don't get that annoying noise if you hit it, which is a major pro for people who are looking to go jogging with these. It also has a nice adjuster thing on it that most other headphones have. - performance performance is great. I've had absolutly no problems with it at all in the two months I've had them, and they seem like they will last me quite a long time too. They don't feel plasticy or cheap at all. - style Very very nice, They aren't bulky at all, they look great when your wearing them, and they're just fantastic like that. The blue color is actually more of a 'darker' blue with a slight metallic purpleish tint (I see this as a great pro, they look fantastic) - price 9 dollars for a great pair of headphones, great deal. Overall: I highly recommend these, they have great fit, good sound, amazing quality, and a great price. (The only thing they're missing is a mic and free food samples. that would be amazing)

Athletic Audiophile's Assessment
For all intents and purposes, I could consider myself somewhat of the audiophile type when it comes to enjoying music, and to a lesser extent, movies and video games. Now why would I be interested in cheap headphones like these when I have far more accurate, immersive, and expensive means of listening to music at my disposal? Obviously for the fact that I can't wear big cans over my ears while I head out for a run or hit the gym. These headphones are great for active, strenuous workout purposes for several reasons. They are cheap. This basically means that they are easy to initially get and if they get ruined en route to the gym or during a workout its not a big deal. The fit - is really not all that comfortable, however they stay on your ears rather firmly. I never have to adjust them mid way through a run, which is something I can't say for other earbud type of headphones I have tried. They are also very lightweight along with the cord. I'd rather have a flimsy light cable jostling around while running than something heavier smacking against the side of my face. Lower impedance of 16ohms. Basically this means that they manage a full and loud reproduction of sound when paired with a lower powered device that one would be likely to use while working out. I doubt anyone uses their iPod Touch while working out, and these headphones pair nicely with the smaller devices one would wear on say an armband or the like. 16hz -20khz frequency response. Definitely a nice plus to have headphones that at least nominally cover the spectrum of human hearing. The extreme high range gives these headphones surprising crispness and there is a definite bass presence as well - albeit nothing out of this world. The midrange is lacking but that is expected in the price range. The sound reproduction is surprisingly decent after all and is best suited for electronica, hip hop, techno, most newer pop music, and drum and bass type of music. Basically anything that relies heavily on boomy bass and strong transient attack. My complaints really just focus on the cord length. 4ft is really too long for workout purposes. You could always tie it with cable ties to effectively shorten it, but overall this is a design fault in my opinion. People complaining about the comfort are just sissies or unclear as to how these headphones should be purposed. They are not for prolonged use on your next trip, and while working out I'm too focused on finishing that last quarter mile real strong while my legs pump lactic acid to notice the slight minimal tinge of discomfort in my ear canal. Overall, I'd strongly recommend these. Thus far I have been been quite satisfied with these and plan to buy another pair if these fail or are misplaced. If you are realistic about the sound quality you will be getting for this price, then I doubt these headphones will disappoint. I would not be surprised if these are a best in price range sort of buy.

Good Sound and Comfortable Fit
Good sound quality and equally important the adjustable ear clip provides for good fit and comfort. Use these almost every day to listen to my TV without disturbing others and would not hesitate to order again when another set is needed. I have a draw full of other similar headphones that are not used because they are uncomfortable and do not stay in place.

Works, but not perfect...
I only use this headphones at the gym when I am working out, and not for any other activities. That being said, these headphones are better than my previous Sony in-ear style buds (w/o clips) that constantly kept falling out of my ears. And my Sony one's died after less than 6 months of use which led me to search for a better pair of headphones for the gym. I do like the fact that the JVC HAEB75B headphones have clips with 3 adjustable settings, as this helps to keep the headphones in my ears much better. However, unless you have pretty large ears, even the tightest clip setting isn't going to feel as snug as it could be. You are left wishing that it could go one or two extra "clicks", but it sadly does not (take this as a recommendation JVC). The other issue is that if you sweat a lot at the gym like I do, they will have a tendency to come out of your ears even on the tightest clip setting. They usually start getting too much sweat on them by the end of a 3-mile run to stay in my ears. If they could fit a little more tightly, I think they would be much better and I would give these 4 stars. On the plus side, these do seem more sweat-proof than my previous Sony's. The other thing to note, is that these are by no means the most comfortable headphones to wear. In fact, when I first put them in, they did hurt my ears. However, after a few minutes of wearing them I got used to it. Maybe it's because I am used to wearing bluetooth headsets for work and personal calls, that I got used to it. If you aren't used to something like that, you might find these hurt your ears. Overall, these are a good pair of headphones for the price, that do work better (and are cheaper) than my previous Sony headphones. Here is a quick breakdown of my Pros and Cons: PROS - Adjustable clips make for a better fit than headphones without clips - "Sweat-proof" if you sweat a lot - Cord length is adequate for a gym setting - Great price - Sound quality for a gym setting is good CONS - Have a tendency to fall out of your ears if you sweat a lot - Can be painful in your ears, since the piece that fits in your ear is more rubber and not really a soft in-ear piece - Cord material seems very "plastic" like, so not sure how durable it will be over time - Wish it had a right-angle plug instead of a straight angle...but that's probably asking for too much at this price :) At this price, these are a good pair of headphones and I would recommend them.

Great Open Ear Headphones for an Active Lifestyle!
Time Owned: 3+ years. Item Usage: Average twice a week at the gym (lifting weights) and on runs. -- The Good: (The positive qualities of the item) -The sound quality is passable. Not much bass but if your expectation is for a decent quality headphone that'll hold up to rough workout conditions and give you something to listen to while you're doing that, these will work just fine. Not audiophile quality by any means, but better than expected nonetheless. -Over-the-ear hooks and earbuds fit in the ear very well and are very resistant to pulling out even if the cord is yanked a bit. -Overall very solid construction which has held up to 3 years of intense use. -No worrying about charging or replacing batteries as you would have to with bluetooth, just throw in a gym bag and they're always ready to go. -Definitely quite sweat resistant, haven't had any issues with them getting a bit wet. -Not noise cancelling. Some would see this as a con but when I'm running on the road or in the gym I don't want my sense of hearing completely cut off from what is going on around me. These fit well in your ear and deliver sound appropriately but don't 'plug' your ear as other earbuds do. The Bad: (The qualities that may be negatives or unexpected for some) -When running or lifting weights, the cord is prone to being snagged on things and get in the way of your exercising. You're buying a wired headphone here so this will be an issue with any wired headphone, but still something to keep in mind. The Ugly: (The downright negative qualities of the item, defects, areas needing improvement, etc.) -After about 2.5 years, this item began to malfunction. The cord has to be at just the right angle when plugged into my phone to work reliably and if it moves around the sound cuts out of one or both ears. I don't let this affect the rating though as I really never expected something I treated so roughly to last much longer than 2 years. -- Final Recommendation: Buy - but first consider other options -If you're looking for a corded workout headphone these are a great option to go with. They deliver good sound quality, are of a solid build and can take a lot of abuse. However, I would suggest looking into bluetooth/wireless headphones as I've recently started using some myself, and it really opens up your range of motion without having to be mindful of your cord or have your cell phone on your person. How I Rate: - Five Stars - Accomplishes purpose for purchasing and greatly exceeds expectations. - Four Stars - Accomplishes purpose for purchasing and meets all expectations; item is and works as described. - Three Stars - Accomplishes purpose for purchasing but does not meet all expectations; misleading posting or small defects. - Two Stars - Reasonably accomplishes purpose for purchasing but significantly deviates from expectations/has numerous flaws. - One Star - Does not whatsoever accomplish purpose for purchasing. Entirely flawed, defective or deceitful.

I got what i paid for...
I am quickly discovering that the less you pay for headphones, the more they suck. I will go over each aspect of them in detail. Packaging and Display The product was packaged in an appealing way, but did not show the part of the headphone that goes in the ear. There is a reason for that, which I'll go into in a minute. Appearance The headphones look kind of cool, but they are bulky for the over-the-ear style. They are adjustable, as the ear hooks slide up and down the bulky part in a click-able way, but this causes a little rattling. The cord is an appropriate length. Fit I have small ears, so its hard to find over-the-ear headphones that fit. Even on the smallest setting, I couldn't get a snug fit. While the bud fits in the ear okay, my ears started to hurt after about a half hour of use. This is due to the hard material of the bud (part that goes in the ear). This is probably way this part of the headphone is not shown in the packaging. Functionality I've used these headphones with my phone, iPad, and laptop. The sound quality was surprisingly good for how uncomfortable they are. This is the only reason why I gave this product two stars instead of one. While not playing music, there was no digital whir sounds on my phone or the iPad, but it was super loud with my laptop. Overall, I'm not happy with these headphones, but they function as headphones should and the sound quality is decent. However, I wouldn't recommend them.

Great choice for exercising
Bought these for exercising with because my previous "hook" earphones were always popping out of my earhole, having to be stuck back in all the time. The hook would hold onto my ear, but the actual bud part kept falling out of my ear so they were basically useless. These are a huge improvement, the bud stays securely in place in your ear through pretty rigorous activity and there is never any need to adjust it. I have slightly smaller ears, but the earhook itself is adjustable to a few different positions so I imagine it would fit most ear sizes. The cord's also got one of those cinch-up things to keep the headphones from getting too tangled during storage. They look very sleek and have a lower profile than most other earphones I've come across, which is a plus. I tested these out with my normal exercise/training routine and they stayed in place the entire time - through running, weightlifting, and even jumping rope (something previous earphones never seemed to be able to handle). The sound quality was more than adequate in my experience. Unless you're an audiophile you should be pleased with the audio quality on these, especially in terms of the price paid. They also do an excellent job of noise isolation, which I wasn't expecting - great if you have obnoxious neighbors or can't stand the music at the gym, perhaps not so great if you run/bike on streets and need to hear oncoming vehicles. I would go with an over-the-ear style headphone in that case. These are definitely the best sport earphones for under $20 I have come across.

Usefulness, durability and functionality.
Well, having a child with a disability (CP), it gets very difficult to find products that really match our needs and expectations. We tried several types from the cheapest to the expensive ones, wired and Bluetooth earphones and NONE really did. We decided to try these earphones because they can “hook” around her ears, they not only do that, but also adjust to tighten around them, that is a plus. If they are well placed they stay on even during her most difficult spastic days! Sound is really good. So, 5 stars for functionality. Durability would be hard to rate, we are now on the 3rd set, but they have broken because of human error not because they are not well made (a 350 wheelchair running over them will brake them for sure) they have been stretched, pulled, cut. So it’s not their fault. Will give them a 5 star rate. They are absolutely a blessing for a girl who loves music! She uses them every single day, the cable could probably be a little more longer but it’s fine for the distance from her head to her communication device or her phone, it is long enough to be kept out of her reach when her hands decide to do exactly the opposite of what she is thinking. 🤪. So, 5 stars for usefulness. Almost forget to mention BLUE IS HER FAVORITE COLOR!

Lost Mine and Liked Them Enough to Buy Them Again
I always go with over the ear models because they stay on really well for running, etc. and these are no exception. The adjustable size feature of them is a minor inconveinence when you're putting them on but once they're in they're good and tight. Had no issues with sound quality, especially for the price (though, admittedly, I'm not much of an audiophile). I lost my set and I'm ordering another pair of the exact same model to replace them.

Auricolari running
