Reality Check: How much knife do you really need?
This is a very small knife, which is a good utility knife for opening mail, cutting cardboard (within limits), slicing cheese and other small tasks. Give some thought to how you really use a knife compared to how you think you'd use a knife and I'm guessing that this little knife will meet most of your needs. In reality, if you don't live in the woods and need to hack down a tree limb or start a fire by carving your own kindling and making a "feather stick" or you don't need to fend off attacking hordes of hoodlums, most of the tasks you ask a knife to do are pretty mundane. This knife will fit the bill. It is small and light, which makes it easy to carry and have with you when you are faced with the overwhelming tasks of... opening junk mail, slicing up your kid's cereal box so it fits in the recycling bin better, cutting the insulation on 16 gauge wire so you can get your speaker wire to fit into the back of your receiver, slice cheese to put on your Wheat Thins and occasionally cut the loose thread from your favorite 13 year old work shirt that your wife hates. Yeah, I own a lot of other tactical, survival, bushcraft...yada, yada, yada knives and they do a great job of looking pretty, fortifying my manhood by feeding my fantasy of killing zombies and living off the land, but truth be told this little, unassuming knife is all my cushy suburban lifestyle requires.

Great small knife
This knife is pretty boss. It’s perfect for places with terrible knife rules. It’s not threatening, it’s under 2.5 inches and it is still useable if cumbersome. In other words, if you’re used to carrying a folding pocket knife conveniently clipped to your pocket and are now forced by the man to “disarm” then you will find that this tool will partially make up for your EDC requirements. I am extremely happy with the purchase and don’t feel like I need to keep looking for a solution.

Great little knife
I was bummed to hear that the TSA went back on their plan to allow small knives to be carried on planes again, but I got the knife anyway just to see what Spyderco had come up with. This is an excellent little folder that fits perfect in a watch pocket. It doesn't "lock" persay, but there's a solid stop at half open and a "hard" stop at full open. You need to apply a good amount of pressure to break the stop and get it to fold. I don't worry about it closing back on itself unless I want it to. You can't open it one-handed.

nice pocket knife
Nice little pocket knife... Lightweight yet strong and sharp. The handles are smooth and pinned in the back but you have a tension screw to adjust the blade... and the semi locking mechanism is nice and comfortable opening and closing that you don't feel like you might take some skin while using it.

Great little knife
This knife is rather amazing for what it is. A lot of thought went into the design, from the opening indents to the 50 50 finger choil that makes this tiny slipjoint exceedingly safe. Came with a great edge, it's a great little workhorse.

great modern gentleman's folder
Carry it everyday. You literally don't know you have it in your pocket - less than 1 ounce. Just handy, not heavy duty. Pretty good sharpness out of the box.

Not a fan of the blade material.
As with all spyderco products, the fit and finish is excellent. Design is great. Dosent take a great edge tho.

Fun and super non-scary EDC
Great little slip joint knife for even the most timid of environments! Does a lot of edc tasks well and is a fun addition to any knife collection. A little pricey and if a locking blade is not an issue the Ladybug and Manbug are probably better value. If Amazon have them discounted then I would recommend the Roadie
