Aliens Abroad (Alien Novels Book 16)

This is an action-packed tour of the galaxy--make that galaxies--and new planets and aliens. It took me a while to read it--days, as a matter of fact. It doesn't usually take me this long to read a book that I'm enjoying, but I had to do other things, including sleep. Incredibly enough, the story is populated by even more animals, including cuddly and intelligent rabbits. And some of these new creatures aren't so cuddly, but Kitty can adjust and continue to make new friends.The story is populated with old friends, whom I'm always happy to see again--and old enemies. Kitty and company travel in the fantastic ship, Distant Voyager, which has a mind of its own. So, as Kitty and company planet hop, she continues her hobby of handing out names, saving planets, listening to her favorite songs and artists, while listening for clues from same. She manages to make time for Jeff and their children and others. Keeping track of all these characters isn't easy! I was glad to run into ACE and other friends and allies--most of whom I remember. Koch does a good job of juggling them all and identifying them, though I've lost track of a few...So get ready to deal with black holes,stars about to go nova, a lost solar system, devastated planets, along with planets and civilizations on the verge of destruction. There are also bored children with their own talents and plans for a vacation, but they take time to help with saving planets too. Oh, this is a long, wild ride with a cliff-hanger ending which continues with an excerpt from Aliens Like Us. And it's lots of fun, as usual.

And the fast thinking, faster talking, heroine who always “Thinks right.”This was yet another great entry in this series. You’d think she’d be running out of ideas by the 17th full-length novel, but it anything this latest entry is more thoughtful, more exciting, and more original. Koch has put so much detail into this alternate universe I almost feel that I could book my next holiday with American Centuarion. And I definitely would if that was an option!

Always a wild ride, always fun. Naturally occurring planets of mimes, harlequins and clowns? Doubtful and terrifying. Anyway looking forward to the next one! Keep on spinning the tales Ms Koch, and I’ll keep on reading I shall, and will always be, a fan.

This is such a meaty, intricate story, it felt like 4 books in one. Each piece of the adventure builds to the next one. It was thrilling to know after each resolution, there was more yet to come. Countless new aliens and new planets for Kitty and the gang to explore. Old enemies resurface. New friends help save the day. This was a delight from start to finish.This is definitely a series to read in order. While the author does a fantastic job of recapping, this is a long series with a ton of characters. To best enjoy all the awesomeness, start with Touched by an Alien and don't stop until you have finished Aliens Abroad and have pre-ordered Aliens Like Us. You'll thank me later.

If you're a sci fi fan and like a bit of sexy romance, you have read this series. I don't know how Ms. Koch comes up with these ideas, but the books are fast reading and edge of your seat. You never know what will happen next. One thing that Ms. Koch has done with series is that she has constructed it so that the sexy scenes are generally self contained in a chapter that you can skip if you're not into those subjects. You can easily skip the chapters without losing any of the plot line. Hooray for a writer that has really thought about a wide audience. You must read the series from the beginning!!! An extra star if you're an animal lover. You'll have to read the books to find out why. Enjoy! (I would caution to start your teen readers at around sixteen. Read the first book yourself, then judge when it will be appropriate for the kids.)

Love all of Gini's Aliens novels as well as her other works.While I usually devour a book & can't put it down (kids need to know how to cook & do laundry, right?), Aliens Abroad reminded me of the feel of serialized novels that used to be published in the papers in England. The story flowed, but in action sequences which let me grab a quick fix in between activities & still thoroughly enjoy the reading experience and story!Can't wait to see where they're headed next (already pre-ordered the ebook so it will pop right into my Kindle)!

Feelings After Reading: OMG scared than very surprised by that ending, love for all the characters, those KIDS!!!This series continues to be my happy place. It's just comforting and fun to see what these characters get up to. I also love space and shows like Star Trek, so this book was definitely for me and it boldly goes to many new places.This book takes pretty much every character we've ever met along for a wild ride. Just when you think you know what's going on you're in for a surprise.The ending too, wow, it seems to be taking the next book in a very intriguing direction.Overall, if you haven't started this series yet, check it out ASAP.

In an impromptu trip around the known, and unknown, universe Kitty is at her best. Sarcasm set to 11 and and away team that would make anyone proud. They even left the red shirts at home. Completely unprepared for any of the missions they find themselves in the only thing they can do is go with the crazy. This time it means fixing old enemies mistakes and adopting bunnies. Full of pure Kittisms, Aliens Abroad is Gini Koch at her best. Buckle in for a fun and very sarcastic, jaunt through the galaxy!

Kitty ist für mich eine der stärksten Protagonistinnen, über die ich bis jetzt gelesen habe. Klar ist sie manchmal Nervig und tut Sachen, wo wir manchmal die Hände über den Kopf schlagen würden, aber das macht halt ihren Charme aus.Auch in diesem Teil der Kitty Katt Reihe geht sie wieder aufs ganze. Man muss die Bücher einfach lesen. Nur schade das sie nicht weiter auf Deutsch veröffentlicht werden.

Another brilliant Alien Novel in the Kitty-Katt series. Love the characters, humour and story. As always a fast paced story developing pervious characters and introducing new ones. Definitely worth a read if you are a fan of the series...

OMG just finished after re reading the whole series again.... and god amazing.. and the teaser for the next book even better... as soon as its set for pre release i will be ordering it... Thankyou as always for a great ALLL night read so now i go back to the begining and re read again because as always your books bring so more to my mind heart and soul READ THIS Series.You WILL NOT regret it ever

Entertaining, interesting but a bit complicated, even more complicated than the other books in the series. Ends on a cliff hanger. Would have appreciated a better ending.
