It is good enough mat for cutting and other art & craft purposes, but very much doubt about the self healing part. I had cut several times and found the cut line on the mat.

Not scratch-resistant not bent-resistant
Not scratch-resistant and neither is it bend-resistant. Received product in a bent condition which developed into a crack. Not worth the price!
